i have never had any problems with it, but after i installed the lost spires mod, it refused to open, it goes to a full screen, then back to desktop, no warnings of any kind. ive tried disabling the mod and it doesnt work. can anyone help?

Disabling the mod may not correct the damage it has done. You'll probably need to reinstall the game.

probably a dumb question, but will i have to install all my old mods again? i know it keeps my saves at least. and should i try reinstalling lost spire?

Before you go reinstalling anything, post your load order, or better yet check your load order in Wrye Bash and make sure your not missing any masters. You can also try deleting oblivion.ini and restarting the game.

It did the same thing to me. BOSSed my load order, and it worked fine. It seems to be very sensitive to its position in the load order.

i downloaded BOSS but i dont think im doing it right, when i double click the BOSS.bat file, it brings up a blank notepad

you need to put it in your "Oblivion\data\" folder where there are all the .esp

k....i disabled all my mods, and it ran with just the official oblivion and expansions. then i added one at a time, and the only ones that it wont open with are lost spires and marksmans velocity. Also, im noticing a lag with my scripts now, my alternative levelling system didnt pop up with the message informing me it was working until like 15 minutes after i started playing. im worried i wont get credit for my skill ups
