I seemed to have overwritten Obivion's sun texture with a different one, that doesn't fit in game. Can someone reach into their Oblivion/Data/Sky directory, zip it and attach it as an attachment? Or you can open it up on something like Paint.net or Gimp and save as a new .jpg file and attach as an image. I just want the sun back. :cryvaultboy:

One word if you can′t get it to work: reinstall

If I'm not mistaken, all vanilla textures are contained in a BSA. If you remove your current sun textures, the game will use the default ones. Try first moving them instead of deleting just in case.

EDIT: Confirmed. I had move my Oblivion's sun texture to another folder and I can see the sun ingame.

This. Also, no one can legally send you any of the original files, so if the above doesn't work you're probably best off reinstalling.

Find one (or both) of these:

Textures/Sky/Sunglare.dds
Textures/Sky/Sunglareonhdr.dds

Delete those if they are present, and see if that helps.
