I beleive it was on topic considering I was responding directly too previous posts :sadvaultboy:

As for being more serious then, I do think vampires should be pale skinned and have the other traditional features vampires have but it doesn't mean I want my character to have a face that looks like my ball bags. I know thay are undead but it is a world of magic so they could look decent.

In Oblivion they were alright I suppose, would have liked factions and quests (Morrowind).

As for Twilight, the way vampires and werewolves are portrayed is very bad and extremely tacky, I got dragged to see the first movie (never again)

In the movie Interview with a Vampire they are portayed better than most other movies.

If they are included they should follow the lore already set out for vampires in Skyrim: "The Volkihar vampires of eastern Skyrim live under haunted, frozen lakes and only leave their dens to feed. They have the power to freeze their victims with icy breath, and can reach through the ice of their frozen lake dens without breaking the ice". Taken from UESP WIKI

i will follow in the brave footsteps of basks-in-the-sun (aka Talks-to-much) and right-wind and be one of the few argonians to enter the brutaly cold north and shrug and say it is cold but i am argonian i am strong and i will survive!

argonians were resistant to all diseases in oblivion, so could they become vampires?

I could've sworn that vampires were confirmed, I know I saw a picture of a Volkihar, which of course was uglier than Oblivion's vampires. I say the vampires aren't ugly enough in Oblivion. I won't be upset if you look almost normal when you're properly fed, but it must be obvious you're a vampire when you haven't fed. And I would die before I turned into a Twilight vampire.

Yes. 100% wasn't exactly 100%. I had a character with 175% resistance to disease, still got Helljoint. Plus you could make a spell weakness to disease. I've become a vampire as Argonian twice. I didn't like it, too pink.

Considering vampires are reanimated dead, I don't think there is much sparkling going on. As for in the game, I've never cared much for the vampires in the ES. However, if they are included, they should follow the lore for the game.

They are NOT reanimaged dead, lol. Vampirism is a disease. A really nasty one, but still.

I never cared for anything non vampire and non werewolf in ES. I think everything else is crap; Dragons, Neveraine, Champion of Cyrodiil, etc. But I hate Twilight. I think vampires should be like lore portrays them to be. Ugly hideous creatures while the Cyrodilic can be good looking dangerous creatures. Lore wise, the Cyrodilic vampires should not be ugly, but normal looking. Maybe even sixy.

so i dont mean to be off topic here, but are the undead/zombies also considered a disease, or are they reanimated dead? and if it is a disease, are we going to be able to get it in skyrim?

Vampires are undead. Looking away from new romanticized and of course TES, you got attacked by a vampire, died, then (typically 3 days later) came back as a vampire.

Undead are animated corpses. We don't know if Porphyric Hemophilia is in the game yet.

Well in TES they dont really seem to play the traditional role of vamps, you catch vampirism, you turn days later and there is a cure to turn back, idk all the deep lore in TES of vampires but it doesn't seem that vampires are really undead in TES

I've nothing against either, but I'd not want TES to suddenly become Underworld 2.

The game could have a major villain that was a vampire or werewolf/ or werebear/boar/elk.
That could be good, and could come with additional risk of infection/curse.

In the game, yes. "Real" vampires, not so much. When there were unexplained deaths in an area and people decided it might be a vampire, they went to the cemetery, dug up the suspected vampire, and, depending on the region and local customs, drove a stake through the heart, or decapitated the body. If that didn't stop the deaths, they went looking for the next suspect. It happened in a lot of places, including New England http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercy_Brown_vampire_incident It still happens sometimes. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/the-real-vampire-slayers-397874.html

Then give me a reason why our character didnt die right after drinking the cure vampirism potion.

Then you haven't played the vampire mods for Morrowind. Fun stuff.

exactly, i just hated how i spend hours making a character that i liked, and then when i got the vampire disease i turned into a ugly monster, vampires are suppose to be monsters, but thats in the inside, they are monsters because the only way they can surrvivie is by svcking the blood of their victims, that is the curse, the curse should not be their face, their face is what is suppose to attract their victims.
