Can you be any more cryptic?
So, for those who can't use your house mod, can you offer the answer as to what effects they have? Or is there no way to know in the German version either?

Sorting by effect length I assume the following:
1 second poisons probably add instant damage (fire or frost or shock) on strike.
The over time potions probably damage health over time, just do not know magnitude or effect.



Ups yes.
You have various effect with difference lenght.
1 Type with effect on your self and Type 2 with effect on strike.


1 Second Poison: Kill the enemy on strike (1 hit Kill)
45 Second Type 1: Damage Fatigue
45 Second Type 2: Damage Magicka
25 Seconds Type 1: Scales smaller
25 Seconds Type 2: Scales Bigger
etc.

Collect some with the same length, use one of them and notice the effect.

So is there anything from the German manual that may explain these or is this just a mystery thing that never gets truly revealed to anyone?

I tried updating but as soon as I did I went to the character select screen and I was missing textures or meshes or something. The snake race was missing a texture and the Nehvey or whatever it was called was missing both a mesh and texture. Not sure why since version 1.10 seems to have everything in order so I assume it's a problem with 1.21 since 1.10 didn't have those issues.

The problem seems to be missing mesh and texture for the Navi race and missing face textures for the Yokudo and Tasaei, not sure if anyone else is having this problem but I ran 1.10 for a long time without any simular issues so I'm thinking it's something weird with 1.21.

Nevermind i forgot to add the previous updates when installed the mod. That was the cause.

Ah this isn't a problem with the mod just anyone who uses it make sure to grab the 1.10 update, the 1.20 update and the 1.21 update, I forgot to grab the 1.20 update when upgrading from 1.1 to 1.21 so I had some missing resources problem seems to be sorted out now.

Ah thanks for bringing that point up. I was unaware that I needed the 1.20 update from the german site but it makes sense. Possibly recommend R3NNW to upload the 1.2Update to the TESNEXUS since I had to go to the german site to find it and I don't really understand german.

I'm wondering is there some reason that some of my skills are in german? I just leveled up and a screen came up which was all in german so i was not sure what to do. Also does this mod somehow change certain characters as i was thanking to Jauffre from the main quest but a different voice actor was saying the lines?

Please use another HUD. OIO - NDs included GUI was designed for the german version.....

ND doesn't change the Voice from Jauffre.

I know you won't want to read this R3NNW, but I ran 1.21 through tes4edit cleaning and this is the result:

[edit] Also in your recently posted set of instructions - when creating a BAIN package you may want to emphasize that in repackaging - that you should rezip with 7z (or rar or some other form) because just putting in explorer folders into the Bash installers directory will create projects instead of archives and that can matter as projects can get skipped when crc checks happen. Archives are better.

[edit 2] Then further regarding BAIN. Due to the inability for even the latest version of BAIN to handle foreign (to English) characters the list of what cannot be installed has remained since the last English version of this:

About the circular levelled list, I think it is the one from SI that was fixed by the last patch, I found the same in every mods I tested with TES4Edit :

By patch do you mean Unofficial or official? I have always had GOTY edition and it is patched to the last official since every installation.

I have tired by deleting the menu folder and re-installing the ui mod i use but still some of my skill show up in german not all but some. I am using Oblivion Xp with this mod and just leveled up, i choose what i wanted to spend points on then clicked done but something else comes up afterwards but is all in german. Is there something i mite have done wrong installing this mod that could cause this? Thanks.

Weird but I'm having the same issue. Not sure what's up as I tried installing Darnified UI over it and it still persist.

Official, I don't use the unofficial : original Oblivion, Knights + DLC, SI, patch 1.2.0416. There was something about that circular list when SI came out... maybe somebody remember..... Bethesda made the patch.

OK - I misunderstood - I thought you were saying that patch 1.2.0416 fixed this and I was getting it because somehow my game was not patched to that.

To confirm RevanIRL's posts above. Yes the skills are in German.

Actually I repackaged the whole thing this time and made separate BAIN ackages for the data files and the plugins. Hoping this won't lead to the need to defrag my HD each time I update this.

Even with being mindful of the BAIN packaging issues I pointed to above and making a separate sub-package for the menus folder and not installing the menus folder and having DarN UI installed after this - the skills are still in German.

With the menus folder installed - oh yikes - all menu options (main menu and when hitting escape) were only described by the numeral 0. This went also for attributes, and book pages in game. My recommendation to the English users is not install the menus folder at all and let Darn handle all that.

Go in the TESCS (construction set) and in gameplay, settings, scroll down to the s..... Translate from german to english right there and you will be ok. That's what I do.

The thing is it happens even if i delete the menu folder and deactivate and re-activate the ui mod i use and also not all the skills appear in german. I mite try a fresh install and carefully add the mods again just in case

No you are right as I posted above - it is a fault of the new plugin as I verified and the fix that Maxie is suggesting is to change the plugin with the construction set.

It seems minor to me - game won't break from it. Let the developers know and let them fix it.

My bet is the english version of the main esp.

If you've not worked with the CS before it will be some hassle.

Start the CS - load only that esp and set only that esp as active - edit away. save

My bet is R3NNW or nano will post a few fixes soon.
