Guys, I have been playing the Oblivion D2D for several years now, but it recently started crashing every time I loaded the game. I downloaded the Steam version instead and it crashed and wouldn't start as well. Turns out the game will load in windowed mode but not fullscreen. I assume this was the cause of the D2D crashes as well. Any idea why Oblivion suddenly stopped running in fullscreen when I've been playing that way for years?

I'm assuming that you properly uninstalled the old version and then installed the new one. Did you get rid of the old Oblivion.ini in your documents directory?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I uninstalled everything, cleaned the registry, defragged the disk, and deleted the My Games folder with the ini.
