oblivion wont work on xbox 360 slim

i can play my oblivion game of the year edition on my old xbox 360 arcade but when i try to play it on my new slim it says reading then just open tray whats wrong

Are you able to read other discs in the S model? Are there any scratches on the bottom of the disc?
