What in the heck are you supposed to do after you finish up the Aid for Bruma Quest stuff? I've been playing the same campaign off and on for a couple of years now and I want to finish up the MQ.

Do you mean the "Allies for Bruma" quest, where you get to bring Soldiers from other Cities to help Bruma? If so, I suppose you already have a daedric artifact for Martin and closed the Bruma gate together with Captain Burd? Did you talk to Martin? He should tell you about the next thing he needs (in total, he needs four things, including the daedric artifact).

Yes, I do mean the "Allies for Bruma" quest. I've closed the O gate at Bruma with Captain Burd and I probably have given Martin his artifact already. If I had that item in my inventory, wouldn't he ask for it? or tell me to go fetch it. The problem is that after finishing that Allies for Bruma quest, there aren't any prompts as to what to do next. I went to Bruma and all of the allies are camped out at the castle there but I didn't find anything to advance the MQ. I went to Cloud Temple to see Martin and he more or less tells me that he's not having a easy go at whatever he's futzing around with and that he hopes that I'm having better luck. There 's not any current open quests in my journal that have anything to do with MQ that I need to complete either. Did I break it?
Have you been to Sancre Tor yet? If not, you need to talk to Jauffre and Marin until you get the "Blood of the Divines" quest. If you've done that one already, you need to get the Miscarcand quest from Martin by talking about a Great Welkynd Stone.
Okay, I went through my journal and I discovered that I never completed the "Blood of the Daedra" quest. I'm supposed to read the book "Modern Heretics" I went to the bookstore in Imperial City that was indicated on the map with a red marker but my Homie didn't have a copy of it. I couldn't find that book in Chorrol, Cheydinhal or Leyawin either.
This book is supposed to be found right on Martins working table in the Cloudruler Temple hall. Also, you can use any artifact that can be obtained by the daedric shrine quests... reading the book will give you the direction to Azura's shrine, but the item you get there (Azura's Star) is considered to be much too valuable to use in this quest. So depending on your character, it's best to decide first which daedric item you probably won't need and give this to Martin.
The reason you're not getting a pointer is that you essentially have 16 choices at this stage. Any of the Daedric artifacts can be handed in to Martin, and there's one for each Daedric Prince. Note that for Sheogorath's, you don't need to visit him in person, just go to his shrine in Tamriel, and do the quest there. In my opinion, that's the best choice, but others will have different opinions.
Thanks for helping me get this campaign back on the rails. I think that I might of ditched that book somewhere after I read it and forgotten all about it. Nothing worse than being lost and questless in Tamriel. My Orc is "Getting to old for this [censored]." and is looking forward to retirement in Bravil. (Fallout 4 bundle arriving soon.) Fudd will choose the easiest way to fulfill his remaining duties to Martin and the Blades, so any Daedric artifact will do.
