Hey, I didn't know about VATS until I accidentally dropped the controller.
 Interesting method of discovery.

Neva noticed no scope. Did notice parking meters.

Eva free a captive wastelander & escort them to safety? I tried, but they always get killed. Might as well jist escort em to Paradise Falls.

Man those people run fast. Really fast. I thought once, that I could enslave them, but the mesmetron got stuck on my pocket and when I looked up they were gone.

The Brotherhood headquarters, post MQ during Broken Steel: There is no place to get many stimpaks in there. They just depend on that Mr. Sawbones for treatment, and he doesn't sell. Also discovered the range of bottlecap mines. If you are laying them, they should be very far apart or else the first one will set off a chain reaction. One of them managed to chain from a floor above to another on a floor below.

Lol, yeah, I got caught by my own mine once. As soon as my character gets enough mines, I'm going to build a pulse and frag mine domino run at the scrapyard.

Why does Med X only come in pairs? Why are raider bases designated by the number 2, all over their location?

A certain type of enemy from Point Lookout, trackers and their variant bruisers, resemble...

I've always though that since I first seen them

The baseball bat has close to no range, yet the ripper, which is significantly smaller, has a greater range same for the Lead Pipe. Annoying.

So it's on melee weapons too? If you are an unarmed specialist, you can intiate an attack in VATS, at what looks like to be about 5 yards away, as in, 15 feet away. Then, when you press go or ok or u know, I teleport to the enemy. Teleport. Old stuff from Oblivion. Everyone talks about how awesome it is to be an archer and get on a big rock and fire away; but no one talks about when the monster teleports to your location, and then administers its own beatdown. Y'all forgot that huh?

I never use VATS when doing Melee/Unarmed runs, I prefer to just swing my weapon about and hit them, more satisfying :P

Yes, you can definitely get more hits in just swinging, rather than VATS. I've also become pretty good at dodging sledgehammers.

Yeah, I noticed the radio thing. I switch a Ham Radio on every time I find one, expecting something to happen, or to hear some sort of broadcast. :P

Fawkes is a righteous weenie if your karma is below good, even neutral. He tells me that I need a reminder of how to walk the right path. Then he runs off to shoot at whatever he feels like shooting. This big twerp gets so snotty that he refuses to use the Desert Eagle the right way as his way of protest.

Edit:
Link to picture of Fawkes holding gun removed. Apparently, photobucket has become a malicious site. Sorry.

Oh, sorry about that. Yeah, I did notice my NoScript piping up about blocking something. Photobucket used to be okay, but lately... My apologies. Will look for new photo site.

Have you ever noticed that the rusted and broken pylon towers across the wasteland resemble deer laying down or bending over and drinking?

I had been playing with 1280x720 resolution and recently upped it to 1080p and for some reason the night became actual night and darker, seeming to negate my Night Person perk. Does 1080p use darker textures or something?

So, I was throwing down against the Enclave the other night and I killed an Enclave soldier and one second before he turned into green goo, he screamed, "I've failed!"
Then another one said it when I killed him as well. What's that all about?

Here's a funny, as I've never heard it before. Jericho and I are kicking super mutant butt, he shoots one screaming die [censored] die  , when it falls over dead, he runs up to the body, puts a couple more rounds into it and then says, "You svck!" Priceless.

Hi guys...I'm a lurker but enjoy reading the topics. I bought Fallout 3 months ago and I'm hooked! Here's an observation I've made that isn't really mentioned anywhere (this goes for the Fallout Wiki website):

Have any of you noticed how many hidden items there are in the Arlington Cemetary?? I challenge you to go back to that area on the map and look around. I've found about 7 different items--a first aid kit alongside the edge of the road, a Med-X by a grave, another item on top of a rock, etc, etc...

Such detail and focus on little things....quite amazing, really. Congrats, Bethesda, I'm hooked! I just bought Skyrim, too... :)

Found 1 random Enclave trooper wandering around at Megaton, haven't done the quest that involves them appearing at Project Purity yet he was just walking around - not even hostile, just there...

This was the first time I saw this happen, I was just completely confused.

He then walked into Megaton, so being curious I followed, he walks towards the bomb - I thought he was going into the bar - but he tips the water and no more then turns round to eradicate half the town.

Coolest, randomest, awesome thing I saw this playthrough

Won't he spawn in there then? That sounds crazy...

No, but since I read this I always look at them like that now. THANKS  I wonder what some of the other destruction across the wasteland may look like. I'm keeping my eyes open.

I've no idea, I was aimlessly wandering and saw his marker on my radar so I followed him. I found him roughly where you find Uncle Leo, to the left of Megatons front gate.
