Observations...

I've no idea, I was aimlessly wandering and saw his marker on my radar so I followed him. I found him roughly where you find Uncle Leo, to the left of Megatons front gate.

Well, good luck with that... sounds like some Megaton buddies might be dying in the future.

In a previous play, I found a Wasteland Scout Uniform on Kenny, and RPP'ed him Butch's Leather Coat for it. I used to wear it around town.

In Little Lamplight the other day, my current girl was talking to Lucy and realized that she was wearing a Brownie outfit. So I gave her power armor in exchange for the brownie outfit. It has achievement pins on it!! Now Lucy is dressed like a midget with power armor, no helmet. My girl wears her Brownie outfit around town.

And now I must have Bumble's pajamas. I mean, how cool are those? So I will shoot for those the next time I deliver strange meat to LL.
You've got to try out the scout uniform. You get long white socks, sneakers, short shorts, total geek town. Reminds me of when I was in the Webelos.

Mind->Blown. The Lone Wanderer can do some truly evil things, and one of them is to blow up Megaton. There are others, but let's use this as an example. Why? What kind of person does this? Something must have happened during their childhood that lead them to become the wicked person they are now. Think back to the birthday party. Someone stole your sweetroll. It was Butch.

I used to think vats was like a long range enemy finder thing. Like better binoculars. Then a friend from school explained you could attack. It still makes a good "creature finder" thing though. Has like unlimited perception.

I learned that you can punt people's heads off. When using unarmed they will sometimes kick, and killing someone by kicking their head off is rather amusing.

I was mashing my keyboard the other day to clean off some of the dust (while I was play FO3) and then suddenly my character lights up. It was daytime and I didn't notice it right away, but then when I entered my Megaton house, I'm like  All this time I had been wishing that FO3 had a flashlight option and then double check controls in the game manual and do a huge  Apparently holding in your Pip-boy menu button will turn the light on & off and it took me a full first thorough playthrough to find that out.

1. Did you have more rad resistance equipped when at Lamplight?
2. I originally thought you only needed one schematic per weapon, but found out otherwise some long time later when I found some in a Yao Gaou (whatever those bear things are called) cave and decided to pick them up anyway, but thinking I didn't really need them.
To answer #2, every schematic you find afterwards improves the condition of how it starts out when you first make it, but in the case of explosives (Bottle cap mines, Nuka Nades) the more schematics you have, the more of the item you make every time you craft one.
