If Obsidian makes another Fallout game where would you want

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 10:27 am

So given that obsidian earned bethesda over 300 million dollars i wouldn't be suprised if they are contacted to make another game after Fallout 4.I would like if Obsidian continued to focuse of the west coast while Bethesda does there stuff on the east.So what factions would you like to see return and new ones in a fututre Obsidian Fallout game?heres mine

An NCR civil war.
The Shi coming back they where awesome in Fallout 2.
a new mutant army or something along those lines

Something totally different in order to build more world lore.
Have the next several FO games focus on different countries.

I'd love to see an FO game being set in Sydney.

Well, his topic is if Obsidian makes another game, not FO 4. So, in fairness, it is another idea, however, the new FO location thread topic was renamed to future fo games, so technically, could also fit there.

To address question posed by the OP, I wouldn't want obsidian to only focus on the west and beth the east. I would like to see how obsidian can do in other areas. This kinda depends on where FO 4 takes place. If FO 4 was Detroit and Chicago, I would like to see perhaps a Colorado, Denver or perhaps Texas, st. Louis, or new york setting from obsidian. If FO 4 someplace else, then I would like to see obsidian do chicago/detroit.

As far as factions, the followers, taking a more aggressive role, bos, enclave, slavers. New factions depending on area.

Arizona.

If using a map node system then I'd like 40% of the nodes to be in Arizona.
If only one big map then it should be 100% Arizona.

Totally moot. Tactics a strat game. Not only that, fo 1, 2, and nv all in same general areas. I would like to see obsidian do something other than west coast, regardless where FO 4 takes place.

Here's what I would like, ideally; Bethesda and another studio, like say Obsidian, each work on their own "branch" of the Fallout series, so we get a game every two or three years. Each branch focuses on a different area of the country, like say the East Coast and Midwest, or East Coast and West Coast. Both branches are policed to be fully compatible and coherent in regards to canon.

That's what I hope happens.

If Obsidian makes another game, I hope it continues the Western US story. I'd like to see what happens next.

" While walking to a terminal" Ok, as this is Obsidian, i will not be opposed to them continuing the west coast thing, but at least get this Brotherhood "Wimpification we got our heads buried in the sand" war over and done with, it is not helping our image any( and no i am not starting a long debate over this so do not reply, I'm not). There, now i got a few hours of reports over that training debacle yesterday, so i better get started.
