Obsidian should make the Skyrim DLC.

I wouldn't mind Bethesda doing a full expansion, and obsidian doing some dlc.

Oh dear god no. Keep Obsidian away from our Elder Scrolls. They ruined Fallout, and I WONT LET THEM NEAR MY ELDER SCROLLS.

I'll stick with Bethesda, thanks.

How did they ruin fallout? They're the ones who made it originally.

And you joined the 2nd of May 2011 and you act like FNV's DLC were trash. Dead Money IMO was better than all of Oblivion's DLC's and tiny expansion packs.

Just because he joined today, doesn't make his opinion less valid, and just because you joined before him doesn't make your opinion moer important.

I never stated that my opinion should be weighed more heavily. But the day you join and then say "Bethesda's DLC was terrible" is a troll.

2.99 for horse armor. and that is a lot. 2.99 for something that litterally adds 2 items that are pretty useless. and it prolly took them 10-15 minutes to make.

I bet any sum of money that M'aiq will have a line regarding horse armor

Broken Steel was the biggest ripoff in FO DLC history. they added it because a bunch of TES players could not stand the game ending. I am sorry but that is the truth, no old school FO fans wanted it (other than for the level raise which was the only good thing about it). As I have said I like Point Lookout but one good DLC does not outweigh 4medicor-avaerage DLCs expecially when NV has 4 amazing DLCs.
i adore nv but your high on krogan ryncol if you thought dead money , honest hearts and lonesome road were good it aint about money its about quality and other than old world blues (amazing) obsidian has no claim to dlc fame shivering and bloodmoon and tribunal = legendary smart , that said i got love for obsidian but those dlc were pointless especially lonesome road i was so damn hyped for that and it failed

People have differing tastes. I personally hated Bloodmoon and thought SI was garbage, but loved Tribunal. FO3 I thought all the dlc was bad, as to the NV dlc, Dead money was the only one I actually liked, and not even for the gameplay so much as the history behind the location.

Would love them to do so just because of their amazing writing, something Beth has been missing in their recent works.

Actually, Obsidian was the one who fixed it after Fallout 3.

Wait, what about KotN? And to be fair, out of all the DLC worth paying for KotN and SI had the most value.

Id say do both.

Cant have too much DLC if quality remains constant.

Id love to have twice the DLC, half beth, half obsidian.

TES is Bethesda's original series....

Each Fallout was made by a different company basically. Interplay made a few more though.

Interplay didnt make any Fallout games except the crappy ones (BoS).

Black Isle studio were the ones that developed Fallout 1 & 2, and when Interplay went under they took Black Isle down with them.. the remnants of Black Isle studio formed Obsidian (obsidian being a word for black volcanic glass Black Isle/Black Glass :lightbulb: )

So basically Obsidian = Black Isle.

I'd like to see Obsidian make the fallout games as a Bethesda subsidiary. BGS should stick to TES.

New Vegas itself was good. The one DLC I played which was supposedly the best one, (dead money) I really didn't like it. It removed the sand from the sandbox, and that annoying collar felt like some cheap trick from an Arnold movie. Being trapped and confined it felt like some linear crap FPS. There were two monsters to fight in the whole thing, and 3 npcs. Ghosts, holograms and 3 NPCs. Wow, is this they best they can do? Sorry but there are better free mods than this BS.

I wouldn't mind Obsidian making a stand alone product like New Vegas once Bethesda is done making DLCs/expansions. I'm pretty sure Bethesda gave them a design document for new vegas because the quality it had was insanely better than the DLCs. Vegas itself was better than fallout I thought. It was great. But that DLC for vegas I played felt worse than SHivering Isles for Oblivion by a long shot, and way worse than the fallout DLCs. I'd say Obsidian designed it, as it svcked ass.

So whatever they do, make sure it's good this time, I don't care who makes it, as long as Bethesda does the design document. Make it big and bold, not some cheap add on is all.

what

I dont know who told you that, but I can only imagine their idea of atmopshere is a 5 foot draw distance and incredibly constricting environments.

No...

Obsidian developed a game for Bioware, similar to how they developed a game for Bethesda (being fallout new vegas)

Bioware has been around since 95. Obsidian has been around since 2003, the same year Black Isle got laid off and shut down.
