Obsidian should make the Skyrim DLC.

Two words. Shivering Isles.

which was 30 bucks on release and not much bigger than Old World blues (which was 10 bucks) you can buy 3 FO DLCs for the price of SI.

Dead Money is certainly better than most of OB DLCs (most, not all) but that is my least favorite. OWB is better than all OB DLCs I think OWB is one of the best DLCs of all time. Heck, even the Couriers stash is better than Horse Armor.

Stop basing it off horse armor. Beth was the first to test the DLC market on the consoles back in 2006. From Knights of the Nine throughout Fallout 3, they never did DLC like that again. Why do you keep basing it off of their first endeavor with DLC?

The devs themselves have said that those early DLCs were the product of them experimenting with the concept. If you really think that they haven't heard all the horse armour jokes and have learnt from their past experiments then I don't know what to say. Horse armour is mentioned jokingly all the time. I think they have more than redeemed themselves with DLC like Shivering Isles, Point Lookout and The Pitt.

yes it was garbage, except for point lookout which I liked. But Operation Anchorage, and Mothership Zeta, come on what a joke.

As I said compare the content with NV DLC and SI and Knightsof9 and you will see NV DLC gave us a lot more for our money and much much better writing.

Shivering Isles is far better than any of F: NVs DLCs, a wide open world to explore, a wierd and wonderful setting, memorable characters and a rich story. Far better than short, linear and ultimately forgettable stories that Dead money, Old World Blues and Honest Hearts had.

if you think SIs writing is better than OWB I don't know what to say. I guess we have different opinions.

Really? Dances with I mean Honest Hearts? Or that epically engaging plot that was OWB? They did have some good writing, but I don't think it was that consistent, and the open world nature of two of the NV DLCs is in the more than capable hands of Bethesda.

I'm sorry but Obsidian are a pretty awful company. Their design choices leave a bitter taste in my mouth. New Vegas was pretty boring. It added a lot to the series, but it was lacking something.

I love Obsidian, but Elder Scrolls is Bethesda's bread and butter. So I would like Obsidian to not make the DLC for Skyrim and just have Bethesda make Skyrim's DLCs.

No, Obsidian should NOT make the DLC. Bethesda should.

And your poll proves this quite contritely.

No. And I really love Obsidian. Instead, Bethesda should let Obsidian have Fallout and they should develop TES or a different IP on their own. But, whatever. Don't really want to have that argument outside Fallout forums, let alone at all.

As long as Bethesda is making actual content for Skyrim DLC, they should be fine. It's their own series.

Let's see: A timeless entity with a split personality asks you, a mortal, to defeat an unstoppable force that has repeated his cycle of destruction countless times over and save his otherworldly realm from obliteration which ultimately fails because

bethesda has taken a stance on this and says that they prefer to realese games as a whole and not partial. that being said they only release dlc that enhances the current playing content.

NV was a whole game? DLC just added to the story but did not influence it in any way. But that being said the so called werewolf DLC is obiously a money grab, you mean to tell me they could not fit that into the game...

Where did I say that? I'm sure you are putting words in my mouth. You couldn't play after the end intitally in Fallout 3, but I still like that game much more.

The New Vegas endings were a snorefest like the rest of the game. They all had basically the same outcome. My point still stands that their game design blows.

I would prefer the original designers (As in Bethesda) to make all the DLC. I will cry the day they (Gods forbid) they sell TES to another company.
