an obvious truth

Post » Sat Apr 10, 2010 12:29 pm

people were flying rocket planes decades before they were released to the public. you dont think there are certain people that own computers and tech way more powerful than what they let out on the market?

companies release (sell) new kits out to the developers every so often. why? because we would get bored with the same thing without any improvement.

and lastly, game makers purposely leave things out of their game so they can put it in the next one

this trickles down from company to pr firm to company and so on

they even say things like (

Uh, yeah.....but you never specified what we are supposed to discuss? Seems kind of pointless to me.

WHAT DO THEY SAY THINGS LIKE

so basically your trying to say that mod tools add more value to the game like years later where everyone would have gotten bored with it

Good point, getting neuralyzed does tend to interfere with one's train of thought.

An obvious over-exaggeration.

Obviously Bethesda will leave things out of Skyrim, but they do so because they either don't have time to mess with it, or the technology isn't good enough. Bethesda releases a new Elder Scrolls game like once every 5 years or so, so it's not like they just plan ahead for their sequels and they don't just pop out games like rabbits having babies just to get money. They try to make the best game they can with the present technology.

Don't act like it's some conspiracy or something silly like that. People are so dramatic about things that are actually mundane and boring.

The opening post is a firm statement rather than grounds for an opening discussion.

This thread serves no purpose, I fear.

I don't know. I saw someone say that they are releasing next gen in 2012 so I looked it up and saw articles (from 08 and 9) saying that the xbox 360 might not even be halfway done with it's cycle due to lack of new tech. saying this was an obvious pr stunt

just thought I'd throw that kind of thing out there.

I also think M$, knowing themselves to be built off of loyal fans, built the red rings error into their system knowing a lot of people would buy a new one because they didn't feel like being 1-3 months without their system

Wow,you really think they would implant something like that into their own console on purpose?

Last year at about Christmas time I was sitting in a presentation by Dream Works. They were showing off How to Train your Dragon to all the university students. Someone asked them what kind of computers they used in their office. I don't remember the exact specs, but among them were 8-core processors. Now sure, it's possible they screwed up and meant dual quad core processors, but I don't really know.

no...I was hoping they did that with oblivion and, since elder scrolls is the last game on this system. though I've never played Morrowind

I know beth only aloud NV to be made so they can make more money without doing anything

and it's a conspiracy if we want it to be and decide to do something about it. something along the lines of making a console a lot more like the pc, or better yet, eliminating our idea of the tv altogether

Yes and its also a obvious truth that osama binladen has been dead for 7 years and they just now released his death. Also 911 was made up by the U.S goverment and the goverment has aliens under the white house.

The goverment is run by aliens, the goverment is monitering every post and president obama isnt a ameri THE GOVERMENT IS HERE SPREAD THE TRUTH DONT LET THE TRUTH DIEEEE

second read, it sounds like the op is talking about releasing moding kits late? idk. I think the GECK was the only one that came out a while after the initial game it was for, I think CS came with MW (or at the very least was available for OB when it came out) so... this thread really doesn't have a point does it?

I believe the term is "planned obsolescence." It's the idea of building something to wear out on purpose, creating a need to buy more. You just have to balance it out so it doesn't wear out too fast anger people, but fast enough so increase profit.

@Swarley: That's exactly what they were used for. They modeled and animated on those computers, then networked them for a render farm.

As Kallus walks away from the dead corpse of the merchant he stops to look at the blue and white flames of the merchants burning cart. he could just make out the skeletons encased in the melted steel armor of the 2 body gaurds. he laughed slightly at the sight.

Kallus adjusted the bag of loot he had snatched from the Nordic merchant and walked in the direction of a small village he knew to be there. He would need to inform the people there how is wagon was attacked by Dunmer bandits wearing the robes of a Mage.. The only thing the Nords hated more than magic was Dunmers. 'Hate what they don't understand,' thought Kallus. He was able to make out the lights when he realized how beautiful the night was.

the first part is obvious, yes. the second is a government-created conspiracy to make anyone with a brain to turn away from conspiracies in general
