A pcgamer.com article had a picture of the dog and the Player Characters (PC's) hand petting the dog and then it said It's all over ... until October 13.
Here you go.

I'm not sure if that is a scan.

Pip-Boy says "CONFIRMED EDIBLE", I think. Eating dog companion confirmed?
Why would the dog companion be edible if Todd Howard said we can't kill the dog companion when the dog becomes the Player Characters (PC's) companion? Maybe when the dog is not the Player Characters (PC's) companion?
I heard about this someplace else. Supposedly PC Gamer has a page like that at the end of every issue, saying when the next issue will be coming.
I think last issue had a X-Com themed thing. It doesn't mean anything for Fallout 4.
I was kidding, but I was hoping someone has an explanation for it, or maybe it's just intended to be funny.
Serious explanation. Pip-boy scanned some food or plant and protagonist decided to pet his dog while pip-boy was scanning.
Disturbing explanation. Dog is an infinite supply of food since it is immortal and confirmed to be edible. Just chop off a slice of meat and watch it instantly regenerate. This would leave no shadow of a doubt that Dogs are truly man's best friend.
Sort of like Thor's goat's (Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr). Is that Mjolnir confirmed?
bet a journalist exclusive only shozing
bethesda does not care anymore about their fans they only want the 4 th game of the year award for todd howard
this whole secrecy about the game is fueling speculation to absburd levels and driving away fans
They are really keeping the info on lock down until last minute. that leaves only a month before the game is released. I guess they plan to release the marketing campaign like they did the announcement that FO4 was in development, sudden and like a ton of bricks.
So you wouldn't want to play a game that got game of the year? It seems to me striving to be ranked the best is win/win for the company and the fans.
And the secrecy just has me more amped. I doubt many are being driven away. In fact I personally don't know anyone who's not getting the game.
Definitely, you hit the nail on the dog.
