At least here in Sweden. Guys, October is over. The worst is over...
Anyone who is going dark now when November starts? I guess it could be the best thing for me at least since more and more gets revealed.

it's only 6:49 Pm CT Oct 31 2015.
i'm not going dark till I get the game.
Going dark? Never herd that term. May you please explain.
Avoiding spoilers by not visiting this forum. For example.
I knew there'd start being leaks, but I assumed I'd have a few more days before having to go dark. The pictures that are getting plastered everywhere - in some places without a spoiler tag - have pushed me to go dark starting tomorrow. Been waiting five years for this. Not gonna have it spoiled. No siree, bob.
Unfortunately some of us have no option to go dark, even if we get rid of links and screenshots from here the moderators still have to look at them before "doing what we do best".
Thank you. I have basically been doing that for the last few months. Only come on to see out of curiosity but when something spoilerish I leave right away.
You fine folks are our first line of defense, and your sacrifices shall never be forgotten.
That's not very nice; all life forms are free to die in the wasteland.
OT:
Personally I consider the notion of 'going dark' to be fatuous, these games are exorbitantly big, spanning hundreds of hours if not more, expecting to spoil a game of this scope via screenshots is like expecting someone to drain the oceans by scooping water out with a plastic cup.
People are more worried about the story being spoiled, if anything.
They don't have any story spoilers anyway, they just show things we already knew will be there.
I don't expect Bethesda to suddenly deliver an amazing story tbh, so meh. It's all about that gameplay for me.
Yeah, not yet. But the more screenshots that come out, the more likely it is there'll be something revealing in them. I'd rather not take the risk.
Possibly, but I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of them never finish the story. I've forgotten the amount of times I've seen someone say 'I put X hundred hours in Y Bethesda game but I never beat the main story'.
Me.
I spent 1.5k hours and haven't finish dragonborn or even started it.
I'm more worried about exploration spoilers, personally. Having random encounters and strange discoveries spoiled would bother me more than finding out details of the story. (Which, again, grows increasingly likely to happen the more screenshots that get leaked.)
Sigh.
I already spoiled myself by seeing the Achievements on accident. I guess it was mostly obvious, but.
I think I'll go dark, too.
