Odd feeling I got from the screens....

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 4:23 am

I was looking at some screenshots and I just felt... cozy... Like the mountains embraced me and cuddled me...

Basically I'm just saying the mountains make the game feel closed in, but in a good way.

IDK, I just have fuzzy feelings. Am I the only one?

You're first character will be a Nord who lives in the mountains, and his name shall be Gunther!

Some people feel secure and protected surrounded by mountains, others get claustrophobic. I tend to belong to the latter group.
Boy is it good to see the horizon again. I know I will spend a lot of time at the coast in Skyrim.

I get a similar feeling. I can't wait to discover a cabin, shack, or house high up on a mountain. Hopefully, I won't have to kill someone to get it. If I do, thank the Nine for regional bounties and possibly no regional psychic guards. I will also get cozy with an argonian maid. She'll need plenty of warmth, after all. Maybe polishing my spear will warm her... :hubbahubba:

Anyway, Skyrim is definitely a place I want to live in.

I felt the most at home in Bruma. I hate snow, and I mean I hate it with a burning pashion...but be it in games or in real life, I feel a lot more at home in a world with those evil evil snowy hills. Its in my blood. Sitting infront of a fireplace as it snows outside is pretty cozy, dispite the fact that I'll have to shovel the stuff later.

I feel the same way. Though I think Bethesda should add snow shoveling into the game. For you know, Immurshun.

If I lived in Skyrim, I'd use fire magic long before I'd touch a shovel. Looooong before.

I would just pay a dragon 5 septims ( if thats what they are called in skyrim) to do it for me ^^

On a side note, remember in MW you could drop your coin, stack em and such, I didn't hear anyone talking about this, and I really missed that in oblivion, am I the only one??

Really you'd do it yourself?
I'd get my argonian slave to do it for me with his bare hands.

Never played Morrowind, but I would love to be able to do that in Skyrim. Maybe even collect enough to fill a hole with and swim in Scrooge McDuck style

Ok, I got the same feeling as the OP, and that was actually what I was going to do for my first character. Am I missing some sort of irony here?
