Odd things you do

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 12:38 am

I have done very odd things but the oddest and funniest thing was offing Moiras guard for fun (after save) and he stood against the wall. So I started making him kinda do cheerleader arm movements XD

I also collect the teddy bears, which are placed all around my megaton house, seeing as they don't fit on my bed anymore, and when i found a big one i was like OMG :'), then recently i found another, they are my pride and joy, i'm starting to think i need to get out more :S..

I allso collect every kind of clothing i can find in the game, and place it in one locker, for one is for clothes one is for weapons.. :)
I tried balancing them on the shelves, but that was just effort, and i ran out of room. :D

Every character I make whether they are good, evil or neutral has to attend the wedding of Diego and Angela. I don't know why, I guess because I love weddings!

Whenever I find a bobblehead I ignore it. This is because I have handicapped my character with 4 intelligence, and they don't know what's good for them.

I'd leave some ammo, unless you intend using them as clubs.

On every playthrough when I get the Megaton house I kill Wadsworth before he can even say anything. Well, not this last time, this time I just shoved him in a corner, shut his ai off through the console and shrunk him by 50%.

I havent started any collections on this character, but the usual collections are Nuka-Cola trucks, full beer bottles ( I usually fill the sink up then start scattering them arond the house), or cartons of cigarettes.

I also play "shoot the gnome". You take one gnome, set it on something so that it will be slightly higher than your eye level when you crouch (your weapon should be at about a 45 degree angle when aiming at it). Crouch down, pull out a shotgun, shoot gnome. Then go look for it, sometimes they fly so far away I've never found them again :D

I tend to stare at the dead bodies of those I just killed. I take their helmets off to see what they looked like. It`s always sad to see a pretty girl under that raider crap. Oh well. She tried to kill me- Had no choice.
Me too. :(

I periodically decide to break into somebodies house and not take anything. I mostly break into Billy Creel's house and sit at his table and wait for him to start yelling at me.

 That really sounds funny for some reason.

Personally, whenever I cross that big bridge in DC that has all the landmines, I collect them, and then I put them all over the inside of my Megaton house, just for security. One time I committed suicide by shooting one of them, causing the whole place to go up, and blasting me to pieces. Another time some townspeople came in to get me, and the whole place caught fire for a second. Wadsworth died too.

My religious nut-job hermit character, called The Preacher, likes to make giant crucifixes out of junk in the wasteland. This is what happens when you're the only person in the wasteland to have found a bible. :flamed:

I collect Nuka Cola trucks, toy cars, garden gnomes, dresses, pre-war money and teddy bears. I will drop weapons if I need to so I can pick any of these up. My bed had a pile of money and teedy bears. Oh, and I collect Enclave Tesla armor, I like the green glowing stuff on them ;)

I pick up everything I see. Everything. Milk bottles, bent tin cans, all of the burned and destroyed books inside the library. I've cleaned out every single item inside L.O.B. Enterprises and the Arlington Metro Utility twice without the benefit of mods to up my carryweight.

I go to Underworld at the start of every game before discovering Megaton.

I go out of my way to be sure the bodies of those I kill can't be identified. But he's a Saintly-type Good character. So I never kill anybody innocent or good, and always go out of my way to help anybody in need. My main weapon is the Auto Axe, and I prefer to kill enemies with melee weapons. That's the type of character I usually play, but I also had a lot of fun with a Slaver/Mesmetron character I made too.

Some very interesting neuroses here  and yes, I share many.

Gnomes: yes, though my collection is humble so far. Too tedious getting those things to stand up.

Pickup random garbage: yes even though I don't really like the Rock-It Launcher.

Keep specific item types in specific lockers: yes; 1st locker on right: guns, and repair parts (for motorcycle, etc.)

Far locker from entry: stuff to sell

Fridge = "Aid"

Desk = special

upstairs filing cabinet = building materials for special built weapons.

Spare room: fill it with detritus

I wear my Radiation suit whenever I eat or smoke a cigarette.

I always use the locker on the opposite side of the door in Megaton for the regular stuff I don't want to carry, spare weapons, armour, etc.

I use the locker next to the door for the special and unique items I find (named weapons, collectibles, etc.)

...and now you know where I keep the good stuff if you want to rob my house.

That's funny. The locker next to the door I keep random crap and the one near the fridge I keep all my weapons and armor. My fridge has WAY too much food in it. I could probly start my own Megaton restaraunt. I don't think I store anything else in the house, other than in my Nuka Cola Fridge.

Well I have extra storage for my Tenpenny suite so I can keep everything in its proper place. Gun cabinet, ammo box, safe, footlocker, dresser, first aid box etc
I collect and display oddities like NukaCola Trucks, teddy bears etc but only one of each
Theres beer in the fridge, wine on the dining room table and a fully stocked bar. I also keep ashtrays and packets of ciggies for guests not that I ever have any
No food in the fridge, I eat in the cafe downstairs
I collect clothes and change them quite regularly. Utility Jumpsuit and goggles for when I'm repairing stuff or using the workbench, dresses for sashaying around Tenpenny Towers, sixy sleepwear (which sadly isn't) for sleeping etc
I spend much too much time trying to get books to stand upright on the shelves then Clover or Dogmeat goes and knocks them all over

Sometimes I get into that house cleaning mode, too. Other times I blaze through, figuring that I'll be back later to collect the loot. I think my character has a split personality.

I get any exposed food i can and put it in a dog bowl. (for DM)
I also like to avoid deathclaws.
and whenever I am in the Citadel I wear T51b armor. Anywhere I go I try to make my clothes match it :P

That reminds me. I'm usually wearing Talon as an open taunt - and as a fashion statement. I kill enough of those mercs to keep the gear well maintained. Maybe that's why they keep coming for me. hehe. Perhaps if I were a bit nicer...nah!

Another thing I do
Only sell loot to appropriate buyers
Booze to bars, food to restaurants, guns to weapon dealers, clothes to clothiers
Of course general dealers like Moira get anything left over

I love to assassinate Confessor Cromwell over and over again.

Sometimes, I'll break into to people's houses and kill somebody and leave a gnome next to their body. They call me the Megaton serial killer.

Every time that reward woman comes to intercept me because my karma is good I like to jump so that I am hanging high in the air when her dialogue catches me. Anyone who has an addiction problem is supplied so that their problem persists. Graqe, Orange, and Berry Mentats are displayed proudly as a testament to my intellect because I earned them by scoring perfect on a lousy test that even a monkey could pass.

I hoard the components of bottlecap mines but never craft them because frag mines and grenades are plentiful. If there are no ranged enemies and I'm being rushed by a melee hostile I meet them squarely with the Chinese officer's sword. And finally, I keep a .32 pistol bound to 1 so that when the last hostile has a sliver of health left I can finish them weakly. This has ended badly for me several times.

I hoard spare weapons and armor, even for stuff I'll never use. For example, I currently have 46 spare combat knives for no other reason than I might stab someone, someday. And don't get me started on Chinese Assault Rifles...
