Off to a bad start :-(

I was very, very , very impressed with FO3- so I got NV on Xbox- I like to jump while I'm aimlessly running around. Well 1 hour I. And I got svcked in by some random hill :-(.. Basicly im stucunion a little hill from the waist down- had to reload & replay a bunch of boring stuff- So is this a sign of things to come? Is this game glitchy like that?

I found the game quite glitchy when I played it on XBOX, but there are people on this forum who say that there's nothing better, so I'm not sure.

Save often, is my advice.

The game isn't that glitchy, the invisible walls are probably the most annoying thing about New Vegas.

In the future, if you get stuck in something and nothing is trying to eat you, open up your pip-boy and Fast Travel anywhere. At the very least, you can warp back to Goodsprings if you've somehow managed to avoid triggering any other location markers.

Save often, like every 15 mins or so, and don't expect it to be all about fighting.

My mistake, this is exactly what a tired mind will do. I don't know of any solution on the Xbox other then what Nuke suggested.

A.) You could've just fast traveled. B.) Maybe next time you shouldn't jump around aimlessly? If I was a Courier who had just survived two bullets to the head, then I'd be pretty cautious. Not jumping off [censored] hills. C.) Game isn't too glitchy on Xbox, you'll be fine.

Sure there's some moments when you'll be thinking "WTF is this crap?" but IMO it doesn't come close to the amount of bugs and inconveniences that F3 had. Keep playing, you'll soon forget any troubles you had with a rock...
