Official: Beyond Skyrim - TES VI #25

Post » Wed Jul 31, 2013 9:19 pm

This thread is for ideas and suggestions for future Elder Scrolls games, and to keep all the discussion in one series of threads.

We also have an official thread specifically for http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1408168-tes-vi-location-and-setting-official-speculation-thread-3/ suggestions for future games.

Now that Skyrim has been released the number of suggestions and ideas for the next ES game are starting to show up. We have a long way to go before we get another ES game and all topics like this will be closed and either transferred or referred to this one.

Please keep any discussion of Skyrim in the correct forums.

I would like all the characters to be given family awareness that they can include freely in the sponataneous dialogue. For instance Annekke and Sylgja, they miss each other only in theory, when I bring them together they dont's recognise each other, I would like to hear some context based dialogue (even random like Oblivion's) where they use the "mother", "daughter", "brother" etc to give impression of awareness. In the same context I hope they improve the npc dialogue so the guards and pretty much every other npc don't spam the same lines over and over, they'd better just shut up and mind their business, or just say hello if I'm really close to them.

I don't want them to skimp on Daedra in the next game just because they aren't a focus. As a proud master conjurer, I was appalled, appalled that I only had 3 atronachs and my trusty Dremora Lord to choose from in any given scenario. And while it was somewhat remedied with dlc, the total summons was still more than half'd in comparison to Morrowind and Oblivion.

Diversity in my summoning capabilities would be nice Beth. And necromancy in Skyrim was a step forward. Don't hold back! Improve on it. Go wild I say! But don't sacrifice my cuddly summons as a result ok? Give me the best of both, and this dark sorcerer will be happy.
