Official Discussion of Multiplayer/Co-op in Skyrim

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 6:35 pm

Multiplayer is a definite no in my mind, it would require excessive balancing and we would end up with weekly down time, more then likely. I do thing that co-op dungeon could be interesting. Something such as Fable 2... that would be cool for showing the game off to a friend now and then, but I don't think it would used much. I think if anything they should release the game without it and then release a mod/dlc/expansion that has a random & repeatable dungeon in it that allows for two players to link up, but that is the extent. To simply put a small dabbling of it into the game.

What's the point of this discussion? We all know it won't have multiplayer support in any shape of form. And I'm glad it won't.

I wouldnt mind having a 1-4 player co op.. Even though the game isnt designed with that in mind it would still be fun to me to run around with others in the game world.

But I bet the Zenimax MMO is TES so it doesnt matter!

TES is a single player series and will always be. If you don't like it, play something else.
