Ha ha that's pure awesome.

i didn't want to use the known acronym as it detracts from the bigger picture. Also the base name is DULCE. Ufo Hunters had a very interesting special on it. if you wanna get hyped for what a perfect new alien DLC would be like, listen to the stories in that episode.

I would love, love, LOVE to see a horror themed DLC at some point.

Dunwich Horror in FO3 was great, but it was too short and didn't go anywhere. Plus it was just ghouls.

Something like a hidden research center where something has gone horribly, horribly wrong with altered forms of FEV experimentation. Just a pure eradication/loot pinata mission, but with a detailed, in-depth storyline.

The possibilities for creeps and thematic elements (environment and so on) is great, not to mention the possibilities for loot, perks, etc.

Fleshy, twitchy, gibbering flesh hungry mutated ghouls.
Super Mutants that are even more psychotic and dangerous. Even more physical over development, a penchant for arming themselves by grafting blades, hooks and spikes onto their bodies and a fondness for sadism.
Horrible Frankencritter hybrids...
Even zombies.

I really really want a heavy horror themed DLC.

Didn't there used to be a :cthulu: emoticon?

Area 51: Could be added as its own distinct region, or the map between the New Vegas area and Area 51 could be expanded/merged as well to offer more WIlderness action as well. Would be a good location for the inclusion of Aliens, as well as possibly Super Mutants, Alien hybrids and perhaps a cell of Enclave descendants... or mad scientists.

No Bull: Located in southern Nevada near Bullhead City & Laughlin. In an effort to compete with New Vegas, a wasteland gang has taken over the region and re-opened some of the casinos. Naturally they are running into problems with the NCR that had already laid claim to the area, as well as the Brotherhood of Steel which has a 'secret' outpost in the desert nearby. Disturbingly, the power plant in the region has also been taken over by raiders. As one of the few sources of electricity (being a nuclear power plant) in the region, everyone is worried what may happen if it remains in such unsavory hands.

Is Anyone Out There?: Set in and around the Very Large Array (VLA). Long abandoned due to the area being generally inhospitable after the war, new activity has been detected. A rogue group of Ceasar's Legion has captured some ex-Enclave scientists and are planning to re-activate the VLA. Why? Well perhaps they hope to get in touch with an Alien ship they believe to be in orbit... now why would they want to do that?

Steep Incline: Trouble is brewing in the Lake Tahoe region. Due to its relative isolation and altitude, Lake Tahoe has remained a source of fresh water. The area was quickly re-settled post-war and has persistently had troubles from raiders, mutants and worse. Unfortunately a group of Super Mutants has moved into the ruins of Incline Village, where they have found a strangely uninhabited Vault-Tech vault. Not long after opening the vault the Super Mutants began to mutate again, growing larger and becoming increasingly violent. Now the whole area is under threat from these rampaging Super Mutant Behemoths.

Mini Quest: A free quest that can be added to a dlc
Breeding Grounds
Story: In a town overrun by geckos a man is being surroned by geckos when you walk by. He yells out for help. If you save him he will tell you about the nest in one of the homes basemant. If he is killed you can search his body for a holotape that he talks about finding the nest. After you enter the house (Its dark and like the homes from Fallout 3) you can see hardly anything so you turn your pipboy light on. After searching the house you head up to the top floor and enter the master bedroom were a gecko jumps at you. After killing the gecko you search the dresser on the far end of the room and you find a key. The key is called "BAsemanT KEY". After heading back down to the first floor you will find a door near the kitchen that is locked. After picking up the key you can enter the room, or you can just pick the lock when not using the key. In the basemant (Even darker here almost pitch black) There is a loud scratching and screeching noise. Then you hear a scream and when you get close to a "Nest" you see small geckos feasting on a women. She yells out at you to blow the building up, you can rescue the woman and she will run out or you can let her die. After fighting a group of geckos you run across a small generator. You set a bomb, wich you have to find in the basemant, on the generator. Then when you run out of the house, it explodes and if the women suvived she is out side. She thanks you for saving her and gives you 100 caps. If you saved the man he gives you 2 CL coins. (His armour/outfit is worth about the same amount so its a even choice.)

It Burns, Man!: Situated in north-west Nevada, in and around the 'modern' Burning Man site. This region of the wasteland has become a strange hub town, a place where wanderers and caravans traveling the wastes meet. Everyone knows that the inhabitants of the area are a bit... strange, but things have been getting even stranger lately. Reports of cannibalism and other grotesque 'experiments' by the locals have caused many of the trading caravans to think twice about whether to make their stopovers. Unfortunately the area itself has started to become increasingly radioactive for some reason, perhaps that is what is affecting the residents?

Close that Vault!: Some things should remain sealed. Not all the vaults were ever meant to open. Unfortunately some wanderers came across a vault entrance and decided to open it. Unfortunately this let the horrible things that were living within out, so they could prey upon humanity once again! The sealed vault was one of the experiments, an attempt to see if any useable form of biological horror weapon could be developed. Unfortunately the experiment has been running unsupervised for many years and someone needs to go inside so the vault can be re-sealed.

The Old Days: An odd gang of wasteland raiders has gotten it into their head to 'play Indian'. Possibly due to smoking the wrong plants. They have dolled themselves up in strange warpaint and are using semi-primitive weapons to raid smaller settlements. Bows & arrows, spears and other non-gunpowder weapons are their favorite choices. Time to show them just how useful a gun is... too bad you're outnumbered more than a hundred to one!

Olde West Theme-Park Resort: Westworld Homage. It turns out that an Olde Tyme Wild West themepark is still functioning, as evidenced when the robots from the park start attacking nearby settlements in an effort to find spectators to re-enact in front of.

Titan: This would take place in dogtown. In a scavenger town of Gretch Town. A man has traveled far from Denver Colerado. He brodcast his message over a radio tower. When you arrive you notice the man has tatered clothes and looks to be almost dead. He tells you he needs help. He says DogTown is getting worse, a new breed of feral dog has been seen. He ask for you to protect him back into town. Once you arrive back in the Strip he begans to tell you the story over a round of drinks. A mechanic over hears you talking about how you can get to Denver quickly. He then tells you he has been working on a vechile of sort. He heads out after telling you to meet him somewhere at 12:00 P.M. You sleep then head up there at 12. When you get there he has a buggy ready. The buggy has a small mounted gun and can seat only two. The messanger says he is too weak to head back so he sends you and the mechanic to go to Denver and go to the town of Gretch Town. After ariving in dogtown you start the drive and you are on the mounted gun. Dogs start to jump out onto the steet, and you have to hold them back as you are driven to Gretch Town. When you arrive in Gretch Town you tell a man you were sent to help. He starts to tell you somthing then a loud noise comes from one of the walls. A giant raveged dog comes pounding into the gate. He tells you to get ready and then the gate breaks and dogs rush in. The pack leader is a large dog bigger then any of the other dogs. He stands there as dogs poor into the town around you. There are around 20 dogs that rush in and you have to kill them all with the support of the Gretch Town millatary. After killing off the dogs the pack leader retreats and runs away before you can kill him. The man begins to talk to you again and leads you to a giant warhouse. "This is Titan", he says pointing to a giant robot (Like Liberty Prime). "This machine will help us clean up dogtown and make it live able. But we need a power suppler and tho we know were one is there are to many feral dogs. We sent a team to get it but they never returned. We did not have enough people to send more out so we went to get someone from another location. Now we need you to head here and grab the power suppler. Please its the only way", the man pleads to you. After agreeing you head out with the mechanic (Now is a Temporary Companion). The man lets you into the armoury wich has hardly any weapons in it. He goes to the back room and hands you a weapon. "This is our best weapon, I call it the Vortex. It shoots an odd gravity field wich will slow down any animal or things near it. It also will hurt them seeing as they strain against it and lose energy. So use this then shoot the dogs.", The man says handing you the gun.

You mean straight from the some of the old animé films right, like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_in_the_Sky.

Nope a new bioshock is coming out. It do not take place underwater instead it will take place in a city in the sky. That is probably where he based it on. http://ps3.ign.com/objects/142/14258732.html

A look at new locations in the NCR that weren't in Fallout 1 and 2 would be interesting. Even the capital of the NCR would be interesting, though most people, including myself, want to see brand new locations. The "capital" of Caesar's Legion would be interesting as well, though since they aren't an actual nation I guess capital wouldn't be the right word, but I think you know what I mean.

A DLC set in Mexico, considering it's so close, could be cool, however coming up with how an entirely different culture developed since the timeline split in the 1950's might be too large an undertaking for a DLC.

I would love a DLC in Mexico. It would need to be more of an expansion though.

But I'd also like to see Area 51 first.

Make DLC where we revisit Las Alamos. Uranium classic and Plutonium shoot bomb inward. Maybe make it educative. Have your actors talk about physics.

Oh wait. Be sure to show the part where the scientist regret making the bomb. Otherwise japanese customers will think we are heartless.

Id like to see something like "hobbs end" from the movie "in the mouth of madness" .
The courier visits a town based on that kind of theme.

I think that taking the chance to revisit and expand the lore of the Fallout universe would be a good direction with the DLC's. I for one would like to see what became of the old hunts from the previous games. Stuff that includes what ever happened to the surviving members of the Children of the Cathedral and their progeny. Area 51 idea is cool, but I personally would like to see more of the lore strengthened with the other games. I am a svcker for fluff.

You'll have most likely have to wait until Fallout 4 to do that. No big deal though, a DLC couldn't do it justice anyway.

Personally I hope Obsidian doesn't visit any locations in the East. Obsidian needs to expand on the lore in the West and Midwest, and let Bethesda focus on the East.
