Only question is, with navaro destroyed, why ed-e going there? Unless obviously something we don't know.

Because they didn't know about the destruction of it.

Hey people,
what if the new fallout is in China in stead of America?
i mean all the previous fallout games where in America, why not somewhere else?
they can call it the Gobi-wasteland or something.

pls leave a comment.

Welcome to the forums.

This has been posted several times before, I think it's because Fallout is all about what happened to America after the apocalypse.

Well I'd like to go to toronto as in the Pitt it was mentioned as being a place of high power. Maybe the enclave has retreated there and you play as a slave in whatever faction controls toronto and you choose to either help the enclave conquer the area, or rise through the ranks of torontos army to help fight for your land.

All I can say is.......

In the Fallout 3 universe the United States annexes Canada in the late 2070's as its 51st state

quote from wikipedia

so canada is a state in the fallout universe

The next one gotta be in Kentucky!!!!

Fallout Raiders of Fort Knox

And I want to start off as a slave- kill my master and be hunted by slavers throughout the game. I hate slavers.

I think that it would not hurt to go back to the original places in California from the first game, but I'm sick of the NCR, so save it for a spin-off. Logically I think Fallout at some point is going to end up in the Commonwealth seeing as there have only been references made and it sounds like a good location. Personally I think the best location would be the Mid-west and go back to Chicago from Tactics.

Anybody think it should be set in a specific part of Canada? Ontario? Vancouver?

Anywhere within distance of a Talon Company Regional HQ, which are scattered throughout the East Coast, along with Talon Company recruiters in towns, cities, and other settlements. [/speculation]

well if in midwest, Windsor is right over the river from Detroit, and it would make sense that canadian cities so close to USA border would have vaults, etc. Vault Tec crews who making vaults arround detroit could just hop over river and start making em around windsor. So, places like that make pretty good choices, imo.

I think anchorage would be really awesome to do, because the thing about it is, there could be frozen over war zones, but also still heated bunkers filled with weapons, and thing of the factions that would trying to use the technology? BoS would definetly have interest as well as the Enclave. You could also have so many new beasts and factions, and there could be artillery stuck up there which could be used for huge fortress's or cities much larger than the citadel. and could you imagine walking around a place that you already explored, but having it be different, and seeing the effects of the nuclear war on it? There's no way the NCR could be up here, as well as the legion, leaving the more advanced factions to take it, or the native factions.

Honestly I'd love to see some snow, but I've had it with those guys, xenophobic and isolationist but somehow they just keep coming back! I'd rather it be near MidWestern region, being able to cross over into Canada, or whatever its called after annexation, I'd like to see Winterized Talon Company Combat Armor, like a Dirty Chinese Jumpsuit but with the chinese tags replaced by Talons and being worn over Talon Combat Armor.

Far North? I meant in the Chicago region, not Alaska.

Maybe there could be another splinter faction of the US army, i mean i'm sure the US army could come up with more competent forces rather than just the ones led by Maxson. Hell you could still have the US army and Chinese there having a deep hatred for eachother kinda like how enclave hates the BoS. but my point is, with US army vs. Chinese, it's not so one sided, i mean armys are always corrupt on both sides.

Lol, well I'm using present day geography when describing locations.

Most locations I'm cool with. Obviously I'm biased towards north midwest because I want change of scenery from west and east. There would also be good reason to believe that in detroit/chicago setting, the area between those two cities fairly untouched for post apoc. Bombs would have surely hit chicago and detroit, but otherwise not much to target besides those two cities. So could have some actual growth of trees. If they can somehow do seasons, dec, jan, and feb game time could be snow, and cold, and perhaps even factor that into gameplay(need warm clothes), especially in hardcoe mode.

Certain quests for example could only be activated in winter, say, food shortages, and if ignored or swayed in certain ways could turn certain settlements into cannibals.

The other bonus is dlc from that area can go in any direction.

the next fallout game needs to be in a city/urban area, i think FO3 location was good but could of been done even better, but new vegas location was a gigantic blunder in my opinion, a desert is a boring place for a game, a city has all sorts of different areas to explore and to fight in, skyscraqers, industrial areas, neighborhoods, commercial areas, parks and airports, there is just so much more going on.

That's probably the worst location ever, a city could work, but only if it's a small part of the map. The people will need food, and as such they need farms. Also, there has to be a high degree of civilization. The thing with humans is that, people don't like to sit all alone in their mudholes. People will cluster together, forming small groups capable of taking care of the entire group, with farmers providing food, and security forces guarding the settlements. That's how humanity works, and that's the way it has worked in all previous fallout games (except FO3, but that's the odd one). FO3 had an excuse by being located in DC, a former capital, complete with lazy good for nothing politicians.

Some people have mentioned their wishes for a game set in China, the wastelanders there would probably look like http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_XdP6Lp2ceqY/TPRNUQwk2GI/AAAAAAAAh9Q/mIUSrUqKlUE/s1600/systemgore06.jpg :)

oh well that would work but only if you can join talon company and if the enclave is in chicago they could hire talon company to do stuff instead of trying to kill every one

:foodndrink: I think that Bethesda learned a thing or two about writing from the success of New Vegas, and hired some compentant writers, or perhaps will let Obsidian do the writing for them.

I'd like a Fallout: Chicago, but only if it had gangsters and mobsters instead of tribals, the MWBoS at war with the Muntant Liberation Army outside of the city, and every resource needed by the gangsters is imported from various settlements outside of the city and if you kille everybody their the faction gets another vendor or finds another way to get food.

The games I'd like would be:

Fallout: Chicago, Fallout: Arizona, Fallout: The Core Region (NCR Civil War), Fallout 4 (In New York with Ronto, the Commonwealth, the Capital (hopefully, if they're a country), and the Pitt), and Fallout: Anchorage.

I'd love for Bethesda to make those games.
