Official Fallout 4 Location Suggestions #3

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 7:42 am

How about a man-made mini-continent in the pacific ocean, that was built on-top of the current Pacific Garbage patch. It could be where the Enclave have been hiding this entire time.
Just picture it. It would make perfect sense because that location would give them immediate access to Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Russia, Japan ,and China.
I often wondered where the Enclave has been for the past 200 or so years.

The environment could be this oddly green metal and plastic wasteland, where sickly palm trees grow atop skeletons and mysterious machines that never got out on to the battle field against China.
In the day the sun would generate a warm glow that feeds and strengthens the growing plant life. However the nights are filled with random electrical storms that strikes the metal with thunder powering the mecha-continent's ancient defenses and machinery.

Their would be almost no human mutations and no Super-mutants posing as threats, however as in all Fall-out games, this is a wasteland.
your enemies would most commonly include mutated plant and aquatic animal life or gangsters and raiders. The more ferocious enemies would be rogue computer programs and robots that have the home field advantage.

I would call it the Pacific wasteland, but it's, of course, only a suggestion.

I'd like it if it were a location you can travel to, having extremely advanced technology lying around everywhere where you can take a ferry to, just to find monsterous creatures and tons of evil robots...

That'd be awesome, but just don't have it as a DLC or the entire thing

I've actually been thinking about this for a Good While now!

I think that a perfect place and setting for Fallout 4 would be NYC the whole of Manhattan including Liberty Island. I think it would be great and I think a Perfect setting for a Fallout Game would be a Nuclear Winter! Blowing the [censored] out of Feral Ghouls in the Snow while walking through Central Park! Awwwwww Yeahhhhhh!

If not a Nuclear Winter which I seriously think would be an Awesome Idea! There should at least be a changable weather system Sun, Rain, Snow, Mist and [censored]!

The rubble in NYC would make moving around even worse than it was in FO3. Or have you forgotten about all the rubble, moving through the metro, that sort of thing. On the other hand, maybe the city was completely flattened, it's buildings incinerated without leaving rubble behind, just completely vaporized, nothing left behind.

Spoiler

Southern accent (my previous plantation owner post is still lurking around im my head)

Why, and another contradiction in your post is your point about goin' around shootin' ghouls in NYC. Now, while y'all may think that's possible y'all forgot that NYC is full with 'em [CEN-sooo-red] Yankee ghoul huggers. So unless you PC comes from down South and as a result also has a good time shootin' up Yankees, that's no shootin' ghouls up North, just ain't gonna happen

But seriously, I already hated the rubble and all in FO3, and in NYC it will be even worse.

Not necessarily... I read this fan fiction that made sense, against orders, soldiers exited their vaults and used anti-air guns and fighter planes (Do you really believe the US Military couldn't atleast take down a few chinese fighter planes) and managed to save three of the five burrows (Staten Island, the Bronx, and Manhattan where saved, Broolyn and Queens were ruins) so now it wouldn't have freakish rubble from nowhere

and it's not like they stopped all of the nukes. some parts where nuked and the rubble from the destroyed planes, which rained down on them, was highly radioactive. I'm not sure whther it's possible in reality but i hope they use it in the game...

My idea consists of a wasteland filled with literal living machines Tera-forming the landscape and constantly battling mutated sea-creatures that pop-up out of the ground.

The actual landscape in place would be mostly odd-colored dirt and completely leveled plates of metal and plastic as floor.
I also imagine mutated variants of tropical plants and trees.

The factions would include Enclave(primary), Raiders, Intelligent Plants, Intelligent Abominations, and a Vault-Tec robot army(primary).

It'd be cool to have tibals there too... I wonder how a civilization with little to no knowledge of how the machinary they stand on works could manage to survive... it'd be very interesting

Well heres my Idea for

Fallout
The Southern Capital

For the next fallout in the big consul series I was hoping for a fallout in the south. I was hoping to see what happened in the south. Did it survive, Did it return to what it once was, DID THE CATFISH MIRELURKS TAKE OVER.
To me the very next Fallout game sould take place in the south. Its the only place in america where things havent been shown and would be a great way to tell more story being that majority of Americas best fighters are in the south.
I even have a few monster Ideas

catfish mirelurk
There just as strong as the Super mutant overlord How ever they only attack if you attack first. Rarely alone as they hunt in packs of 4. You first see them when fighting a mirelurk and it runs off after seeing one of these beast right behind you.

Talking deathclaw
These creatures are strait from the west. They live in a small village out side Atlanta. They unlike most deathclaws are nice and only eat Brahmin. They are the biggest farmers of these creatures in the eastern part of the U.S. of A. You will see that most of there meat stock is only 1 headed. They milk the ones with 2 heads.

Hounds
While most dogs in the waist land are radiated and very mean the hound dogs of the south were protected for hunting purposes in case the vaults opened.

The red Arrows
A faction only seen in the south that are made up of animal tamers (Humans), Talking deathclaw's, and the beast tamed by them. You will see they have captured a large amount of beast and show some off. They have plans to go north and take over (which they have the man power for) but they think its best for them to send a message first. There like Brotherhood of Steel but instead of machines they use animals. They are much stronger then the Brotherhood of Steel but aren't as spread out as them showing they aren't good with communication.

I hope you like my Ideas for creatures and hope you want a fallout in the south
as much as I

being that Atlanta is the capital of the south I was shocked to see no one has thought of it.

(Also catfish mirelurks and talking death claws would not be new as if you played Fallout 1 you would see the 2 doing a quest)

How about (to get rid of the thought of Fallout: BoS, aka the game that shouldn't be named) we have a Fallout game in Texas...

Well the framework is done, I might write a little fan fiction but all I have so far is http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1155860-fallout-your-faction/.

Oh really? Because Fallout 1 was in California, Fallout 2 was in California and Nevada, and Fallout New Vegas was a little around the border of California and Nevada! :o

it was only in a small part of California. Its ok as long as its a tiny peace.
+ the south is a mystery. we have no Idea whats going on there. the west has been done. the north and Canada have been done (ok maybe only a part of Canada but still) The south is the last place we can go (then again I wouldn't mind seeing Hawaii or Alaska. Im tired of sand and some snow would be fun)
I have an idea on page 2 for the south that I think would work.

http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/9598/falloutcovered.jpg is what the Fallout games have covered so far. There are loads of land to wrok with, not just the south that is a mystery and we cerianly haven't seen the north, except for Anchorage, and no Canada!
