Vault Zero would be Canon. Its the biggest event in Tactics and all of the endings have the MWBoS making it their main base of operations. People only turned on the idea of Vault Zero because Van Buren aka Fallout 3 was not going to have Vault Zero, it was going to have the Crater. Which is why people called Tactics non-Canon but Van Buren was never made so therefore Vault Zero does not mess with Canon, therefore Tactics does not mess with Canon so therefore Bethesda would be crazy to just write off the MWBoS as just a small "chapter" outside of Chicago.

If there main based is at vault 0 in Wyoming then we couldn't call them the Mid-west Brotherhood then now could we.

Now I think Fallout 4 is gonna be in Chicago, but I'd be happy with it in the South Somewhere (Texas, Louisana, Atlanta, or Florida) Radioactive Disneyland = Fun times :celebration:

Vault Zero is located at the Cheyenne Mountain Complex aka Norad in Colorado Springs Colorado.

Actually not anymore, now it holds the NSA and all its "no privacy for you" stuff. NORAD was moved somewhere else.

I sorta hate how so few people want a game in the south.
and it is very possible for the full island chain of Hawaii as it spans less then what we saw in fallout 3.

back to what I was saying why do so few people want the south. why do so many want the north.
is it because there afraid of the unknown and don't want to have to big of a difference in the game or is it because they don't want any swamp folk even thou its rare in most southern states to have hicks.
also Im amazed we haven't seen a zoo. I mean just imagine going to central park zoo and BAMB a 2 headed lion pops out and attacks or a Large tortoise with spike shells. Its just odd we haven't heard of any zoo in any fallout even thou in 3 we were in an area where the zoo sould have been.

1. south- depends where you mean. There really aren't any major cities in the south that aren't in Cali that would be good for fallout. If you mean hawaii- it's too isolated. That makes it VERY difficult to connect to events or things in other games. You'd basically have to create a completely new mythos (I. E. no enclave, BoS, NCR, Legion, probably few to no raiders) plus, why would they nuke such small islands? If they did, nothing would survive. It might be cool for a non-cannon spin-off, but not as an actual entry.

2. zoo- no one wants a zoo? really? that would be amazing!

and wtf do you mean Theirs Atlanta Dallas and many more citys in the south that actually mean something in the us. do some research. The south is actually a lot more important to the US then most know.

As for New York... if I was a dev, I'd make sure to wait until it can really be done justice. I don't mind waiting a few years so the platforms can make it spectacular.

Sorry, I edited the page and removed it. It's a neat piece of concept art but there was no evidence it had anything to do with Fallout or was made by anyone involved with Fallout, so there was no reason to have it on the website. If you or someone else can find proof it's Fallout related then by all means put it back up.

Would it really look like that though? That piece of concept art made it look like a huge earthquake happened, not a civilization-destroying nuclear war. Yes, it's a cool piece of concept art, but it tricks people into thinking that it's official art like the Denver concept art is, and any disclaimer I could have added to it would only be visible if you clicked on the image to read the description of the file or see the small text I would have to add to the image.

I think you underestimate the amount of people that would like a game set down South. Considering the amount of fan that prefer the NV wasteland over the ruins of DC. It's the same as rebuilding civilization/farming vs dungeon crawling. Rural vs City. It's my reason for supporting a southern Fallout and it's the reason why Canada is a close second for me. Too bad there's no location poll (yet).



Why restrict yourself to a single city? I want to see large parts of a State, or even several States.



Maybe you should mention the States you mean by name. To add to the cities, there's also New Orleans, Miami and Charleston, and there's other locations like Wattz Bar and NAS Pensacola.

The next Fallout Game should take place in Germany.
The Title could be "Fallout Good Old Germany".

A few Points for Germany:
A lot of great Cities with beautiful old Buildings like Munich, Cologne, Berlin or Regensburg

This could become Part of a side story, thinking about rivalry between factions like PAI(Post Apocalyptic Illuminati) and the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilderberger.

The opportunity to place vaults in medieval castles.

One problem with Germany; Language. I feel that a schism would be created between those who would prefer subbing (like myself) and dubbing.

I thought we all agreed Fallout wouldn't work in another Country

New York Wasteland! This is why:

• Central Park Zoo - Imagine all the mutated animals! Two Headed Lions or Deadly Monkeys(The same damage as Deathclaws)
  
• The Statue of Liberty - Since it will require a boat ride, not many wastelanders will be able to travle there, so there will be a Vault Places inside there, imagine a vault under water! Obviosly there will be wastelanders on that area but will be unaware of the Vault.
  
• The Empire State Building - The Second Landmark in the New York Wasteland , this will house the Overlord of New York Wasteland, he will watch over the Wasteland, he will be like Alistar Tempenny and Tempenny Tower. If you choose to kill him and the occupants, this will allow Wastelanders and the injured to come and heal their wounds and have a home in the dangerous New York, also you will have a excellent view at the top of the Building, the observation deck, which you can use to snipe enemies from high above, extremely high above.
  
• ChinatownGhoultown - Come here to get the best bargains in all the wasteland! And also to be ripped off by a Ghoul or 2 if you not careful
  
• Beautiful Environment(in the Wasteland style Beautiful) - destroyed sky skysrappers toppling over each other.
  
• Quests would be legendary! - Having to flood the Vault in The Statue of Liberty(Evil Quest, obviously)
  
• The Cathedral of the Brotherhood - Where the Brotherhood of Steel will be situated as well as other locations.
  
• The subways can be used - no, no, no. Not the actual trains, you can use the subways just to take shorcuts, but the wont be as crappy like as in F3, they will be brighter and easier to travle through. Not Perfect but better.
  
• The Metropolitan Museum of Warfare - Hmmmm, New Faction, Quests and weapon looting anyone?
  
• Factions - Brotherhood of Steel, Enclave, Etc. All the ones you know but game specific ones too such as: Alleyway Ghouls(live deep undeground in Ghoultown); Empire Guardians(The faction in the Empire State Building, very well armed and armored); The Followers of the Liberty(The faction of the Statue of Liberty, kinda psycho but can also be knowledgable and convincing, can provide assistance when required); The Disturbers(The faction of Time Square, live in high numbers, lightly armed); (Need a name, cant think of any, must suit the Metropolitan Museum of Warfare) - Come in medium numbers in the Museum and around the Wasteland and are very heavily armed!

Just a few things there...

I think we have already established the NYSE as the Talon Company HQ. But I prefer South, and Canada second. I'd rather not see NY State (it should be the entire State, not just the City) for a long time. Burning down the UN would provide us with some good Southern fun though. Driving a pick-up through the building comes in as a close second.

I approve of any idea that shines a better light on Talon Company, that they are not evil.
