Official: Future Fallout Locations Suggestions Topic #13

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 8:44 am

That was called my sarcasm. :) I Point is everyone has heard of it, and it is history, and it wasn't in New England.

If I really really wanted to, I could probably think of 1,000+ historical things, people, and places in a couple hours if I wanted.

Edit: Its best to just agree, fyi.
Ok and sorry its just since i cant hear your voice i cant tell sarcasm. My apolog's.

Don't worry, you will learn peoples viewpoints and personalities if you stay on here long enough.

I think it should be based in somewhere other than America I think it should be based in England or Europe. I don't somewhere other than America is all I'm saying ( even though Bethesda are based in America, which is why the studio is a location in fallout 3)(been such a long time since I played it though so don't quote me on that)

There is an area of DC called Bethesda, and that is where the company set up. Now you know

Not to sure if I mentioned it at all in this thread, but Philadelphia seems to me like a good setting to continue fallout 3 from.

RadRoach King, edit your posts, don't just spam with posts made in the same minute, you'll last longer on the forums if you do.

What doesn't make any sense to me is why does fallout have to be set in America I know it's had huge amounts of history, I should know as I'm taking GCSE history, which haven't been touched but people are forgetting that the British have had tonnes of history to any1 recognise the date 1066 that's history what about the holy crusade back in the dark ages we also have a load of legends in England to, the three musketeers, Robin hood, King Arthur and the knights of the round table, st. George (the patron saint of England) so please don't knock me on the head for saying this cos I mean no offence alot of my fellow Brits would just cal you all yanks and spit at you but I will look at you and say "hey he seems like an alright guy I wonder what his story is"

Because Fallout's jumping off point is 1950s Americana, and how people of 1950s America, viewed the end in a very dramatic way. Take away that, and you don't have Fallout. It's already been discussed to death, on previous threads. I suggest you look into them, to see why Fallout is America only, and possibly Canada and Mexico, since both were annexed by the US before the Great War and probably in some ways turned into more American places.

If it was in Britain or Europe, or anywhere, it shouldn't have the Fallout title, it should be something else. But Fallout is solely focused on the 1950s Americana that was America before the Great War, and the aftermath of that '50s Americana.

Nice to meet you btw. :) lotta new faces on the forums. And we aren't all that bad. :P I really need to come back to these forums.

OT- I would really enjoy a FO se in NE or the mid west, though, hailing from NE I may be a little biased. :P

I think for now on when some is being sarcastic then they should put (sarcastic) next to their statement as they're are people who either get extremely confused or don't know english well enough to tell the difference.

Maybe Chicago wouldn't be a bad location, I suppose.

The MWBoS are located there right?
