1. Florida????? Is extremely boring, I remember vice city and that just wasn't fun. I have no interest in being in florida whatsoever.

2. New Vegas had the NCR, and that wasn't so safe.

3. If it were to be in California again on a new engine such as skyrim, I wouldn't side with the NCR and I would raise all sorts of hell.
1. Well we are near Miami, so just blow the city up and put some interesting things around it, then we have the everglades to the west, which could house all kinds of new enemies and what not, it could even have secret bunkers and military bases in it. They the keys are very tropical so they could have even more wildlife and then tribals living there. The mainland people could be trying to do something to the tribals so they could effectively use the keys area.

Also I want to mention that Florida would be my third choice. 1st is Philadelphia, 2nd would be Seattle, and 3rd is Miami

2. The Mojave isn't NCR territory and doesn't represent the NCR as a whole.

3. But what would be the alternative to "raising hell" in the NCR? Helping children in school, or busting some petty theft? The game isn't about having one option.

Tokyo would be legit.

Also, from what I've read no one won the war and the whole world went up in flames.

Hong Kong would be a nice setting.

NYC is nice, but it doesn't give me that spaghetti western feel. So if they can bring it back to California it would be much appreciated by people across the globe.

Oh please bring it back to California, it shouldn't even be up for debate.

Niether do I, but really if Fallout is about the rebuilding of humanity and the people. Then you can't do much better than the south. There is so much you can work with, from Voodoo religious practices, the Civil War, the rampant racism, the fact that many people consider the Southern US to be among the most haunted in the country. (Personally I think they are loonies) which would provide great bases for tribal superstitions.

EDIT: Also it doesn't have to be the swamps. You can set it in the Cotton Belt, or the Mississippi Delta, even the Appalachian mountains. South Carolina has a nice range of geography from what I recall. But if you do set it in the swamplands, then let me just give you one thing, Mutant Alligators.

Giant mutant alligators? :3

psssssssssst... Four Corners.

We know its gonna be around Chicago, because it is the easy route. We know some of what has gone on there.
Though, I would rather see an entirely new place that wasnt:
A ) Part of a cancelled game

or
B ) Picks up where a previous game made by another dev left off

I would Rather see a continuation of the CW or perhaps The Commonwealth as they were introduced by Beth.. Beth should continue with theirs in order for it to be a sequel.

Still.. Four corners hah
