isn't it a bit too late for ideas and suggests?

I mean, the game is than a year from release, it should be done and in the polishing faze.

its too late to ask for game play mechanics or physics and stuff like that but its not too late to suggest content. its not hard for a team of 4 persons to include content in the world ( modeller, designer, programmer, animator) they can pretty much anything they want in the world as long as its simple

It would be cool to see a Minas Tirith-esque location.

They need bunnies, and outhouses. Maybe not bunnies in outhouses, but definitely not cliffracers and buckets.

I wouldn't mind expansions that also add new things to places you've been to before. You return to a cave that has great loot and you find a body with a note which leads you to..... etc.

A Skill Tree system similar to Diablo but with Bethesdas own ideas would be really nice. Overall I think that the classes and races should each have its own type of gameplay, and i think that a Skill Tree system will work to flesh out the different classes

While I realize that the game is not (thank god) a multiplayer game, I would really like to see a place, where you could battle it out against other players. I imagine it could be like the Arena in the Imperial City in Oblivion, only you would (have an option to) fight other players (over steam, possibly?). Since it wouldn't make much sense for the loser to die, it could be made so that the loser only loses consciousness.
What do you think about this idea?

I would love to see old favorites make a return, if only as a reference in a book, a grave, or something like that.

A quest involving Elante of Alinor that reveals why she is so interested in Daedra, or maybe just her corpse in a Daedra infested dungeon.

More on Barenziah!

Id love to know what Divayth Fyr is up to.

A letter from Caius Cosades.

Things like that :)

I want to see more crafting skills brought into play, or at least give Armorer the ability to make armor out of ore. I mean we had gold, silver and a few other ores in previous TES games, and in Shivering Isles there was the amber and (can't recall exactly what it's called) mad ore which you brought to someone else to make into armor. Why can't you just do it yourself?

Why wouldn't you use a bunny in an outhouse? Definetly would be considered a luxury item.

On a not so vile note, bring up the prices of luxury items such as SILVERware and jewels, having a flawless diamond cost less than a low tier piece of armor makes zero sense.

While I realize that the game is not (thank god) a multiplayer game, I would really like to see a place, where you could battle it out against other players. I imagine it could be like the Arena in the Imperial City in Oblivion, only you would (have an option to) fight other players (over steam, possibly?). i tottally agree with that.. in oblivion its given to us so many classes... but theyre all almost the same....what change actually is the combination of skills......they dont have specific features

Also maybe two different types of magical weaponry refill soul systems.

Weak enchantments will refill over time, no soul gems required.

While more powerful enchantments require soul gems to refill them.

Or just give us a rare magical sword/axe/etc that does the first option but its just rare.

PS Also want a reference to the Arena master (the guy who gives the arena battles to you) and his daughter. Have this settled out, I want closure. Does she prove to him shes his daughter? I need to know. Also does she kill or be killed by her argonian friend in the arena.(drama)

I hope this time around that allies who are 'grouped' with me can't be hurt by me when fighting enemies. I had such a hard time not killing my allies during battles with NPCs who were 'grouped' with me... it was very annoying.

One thing I think would make any elder scrolls game that much better is flying mounts. Horses in Obvlivion were cool and the landscape was breathtaking. With the inclusion of dragons which everyone is talking about I think flying mounts would be appropriate.

An extremely obscure quest similar to the Golden Pantaloons. It could be stretched into DLC for the conclusion. Of course, the original pantaloon quest is legendary, perhaps not even to be seen again!!

Oh, and I want a gun. Yes, you heard me, a gun :stare: Remeber, it doesn't have to be modern, nor working, and it can be a Dwemer artifact. I picture an instance similar to the Icarian Scroll of Flying  If folks are too hung up on guns, then how about a laser? Essentailly a laser gun is just a one-beam shock spell down a stick, amiright? amiright? OF course, this all for my self-indulgant feelings of HAHA to all of those who rejected the ideas witha knee-jerk reaction

Lanterns. I want my lanterns back. Sure, they may have been excluded due to NPC's always trying to pick them up, but there were great for adding light, decorating, etc.

How about a refernce to the :spotted owl: worked into a dialogue somewhere ;)

And of course, more cowbell!

-Beards
-No faction lounging like in oblivion
-More lifelike towns
-Spears

(By Faction lounging i mean thet fighters guild members should be out killing bandits and helping merchants not sitting in the guild hall)

I think we don't need to see the enemy's health bar if they don't make them annoying tough to kill. Two or three hits should do it.

Special weapon types

Remember how ghosts could only be hurt by silver or by magic? This was a unique to distinguish ghosts from the other enemies, and made it a bit tougher if you weren't playing a mage or using a silver weapon. Well I think more weapons should have special traits, both by the type of weapon it is (sword, dagger, axe, mace, polearm, etc.) and by the material it is made out of. A club carved from wood might not do a lot of health damage, but it would do a lot of fatigue damage.

Silver: Critical bonus to supernatural creatures such as ghosts, liches, and lycanthropes.
Gold: Special reactivity to electricity. Lightning based spells or enchantments have a critical damage bonus applied with these weapons.
Iron/Tungsten/Steel: Special reactivity to fire. Fire based spells or enchantments have a damage increase added to them.
Some other type of metal, like Mithril: Special reactivity to frost. Frost based spells or enchantments have a paralysis chance added to them.

And so forth.
