What is the release date?
Fallout: New Vegas is scheduled for a Fall 2010 release on the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3, and Games for Windows in North America and Europe.

All we have, at the moment, for a release date is Fall 2010. There are many retailers who have set a marker date for their purposes but those dates are merely guesses and should be taken with a grain of salt. The only date which can be trusted is the Official FO:NV site which I have linked above. I assure you that when a release date is announced we will hear about it! And until then, the only date to be trusted is Fall 2010.

Future threads started to ask or discuss release dates or threads about some retailers date shown on their site or to discuss what Billy Bob over at Gamemart said will be referred to this thread for member speculation about the date of release.

Fallout 3 release Oct 28 in North America, so I'd say New Vegas should be released... oh around sometime this fall?



Seriously though, I'd say sometime from Oct 24-30 since it's the last week of Oct and F3 released the last week of Oct.

I speculate it will be released on November 16th. No particular reason, however that date did very well in school, got top marks, and dates October 23rd down the road.

^^^Here in the states nearly all games and dvd are released to the public Monday/Tuesday at midnight, hence midnight releases.

If they are true to their word and do indeed release it this fall then it could be anyone of the following dates:

Sep 28
Oct 5
Oct 12
Oct 19
Oct 26
Nov 2
Nov 9
Nov 16
Nov 23
Nov 30
Dec 7
Dec 14

Releasing it 6 weeks before Christmas is a good sales strategy if you are confident that you have a blockbuster but if not then closer to Christmas would be wiser.

My money is on Nov 16.
