Anyway, a 2010 release is totally impossible, seriously, Bethesda just does not do that. I'm completely confident that it won't come out until late 2011 at the earliest, but most likely 2012. But that's only if it's announced in the summer. Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3 were all released more than a year after they were announced, and I'm certain TES V wont be any different.
Thats sounds reasonable. I would be very surprised if there was a 2010 release (especially considering they haven't even announced it).
But I don't think its completely impossible. After all it was a goal, at some point (thank you Paul Oughton [I think thats how you spell his last name...]).
Additionally, Bethesda has expanded quite a bit.
So I think we should settle for highly unlikely and not jump to 'totally impossible' quite yet. Chances are, when they announce it though, they will place the target mid-late 2011 (thats at least what I think).
Sorry about the three posts in a row, this is my last one, I promise.
The http://gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/05/07/june-issue-revealed.aspx issue of Game Informer has been revealed, and it's Gears of War 3, not TES V like we hoped.
So now there's only two covers left before the trademark expires, the July edition, which will be revealed in early June, and the August edition, which will be revealed in early July. This cover not being TES V certainly makes a later announcement and them showing it at QuakeCon seem more plausible.
Well I guess that means another month of waiting...
But your right, QuakeCon now seems more likely. I kind of like it that way. I want TESV to dominate the gaming headlines, instead of just being yet another game annouced at or around E3.
But on the other hand, I want it to be announced sooner rather than later. I also want it to be released sooner rather than later. Perhaps this is why I hold onto the quote from Paul Oughton (again, have no clue about the name) about a TESV in 2010.
Because I want my TESV now! :brokencomputer:
