not that this isn't anything we didn't already know, but we can put the e3 showcase rumor to rest. http://bethblog.com/index.php/2010/06/01/e3-2010-lineup-were-going-to-need-a-bigger-booth/
Seems depressing at first, but
every single comment left on this blog page is asking for TES:V. That's awesome. We're definitely getting through to Bethesda, and we all know they listen to their fans more than most companies. E3 might not unveil our holy grail, but QuakeCon holds a lot of promise and is right around the corner.
I think you missed my point: This isn't about the status of the trademark. I think "marketing research" said it was better to revive the Oblivion store than to build a Skyrim store, leading to the dropped portion of the trademark. I mean, doesn't it seem entirely too unlikely that the dropping of an online store trademark would occur before an old, defunct online store revives?
Indeed, I agree with you here. Also, i'm not tech-savvy with web pages... but it is possible to change a web address, or even create a new one and redirect from the old... correct? So just because they've revived the Oblivion store, doesn't mean it won't be changing name to the Skyrim store right after an announcement, if that is true. Perhaps they've revived it recently to begin work on new product listings, and have got a new name and layout being worked on as we speak?
