http://gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=125551 hyping nintendo e3 surprises, but also mentions bethesda's secret surprise. They're also citing Famitsu.

The magazine is quite popular in japan, circulating about 500,000 copies weekly. Why they would fake a whole list of e3 surprises boggles my mind.

TES V at E3 it is. :D

Fricken. Yes.

Then again... It could be what Zenimax Online is showing...

I hope I made up for this mornings not so big, big news antibody. :hehe:

And the digging continues.

http://scrawlfx.com/2010/06/capcom-ea-square-and-more-have-surprises-for-e3

The magazine took a publisher survey in which Capcom, Electronic Arts, Konami, Sega, Square Enix, Tecmo Koei, and Ubisoft confirmed that they will have surprises for the show. Bethesda and Namco Bandai listed “secret” under their surprise category.

Also regardless of what Pete Hines said. The Elder Scrolls is a big enough franchise now to have the next game announced at E3 and not get lost.

I have the feeling its the MMO... I really hope I'm wrong, or would Zenimax online be listed instead if it were an MMO?

Dumb as it is, there is plenty of evidence that a TES MMO is in the works by Zenimax

Yeah, I think it may be the MMO that Zenimax Online is making. Remember those court documents detailed that the MMO was supposed to be announced last year, but missed it's window. So, meh.

+1

I'd rather have that announcement over nothing so we can verify if Skyrim is the MMO or not, but I have the feeling Skyim is the MMO

I wouldn't mind an MMO as long as I got TESV, to be honest.

Perhaps the novels are just fillers for the long wait time between TES IV and V?

I just cant picture a decent MMO from any of these companies with no experience and having no user feedback cause they dont announce anything. I still dont think its an MMO, E3 is not too far away though so we'll see wont we.

Also, they'd be screwing a lot of people over by making TES:V an mmo. The player base is all about the open ended RPG and modding community, as an MMO you can say bye to ALL of that.

In other words my money is still on either TES:V or a FO:4

Just thinking out loud here but maybe the "surprise" is a surprise because gamesas can't speak about it until after Microsoft's Natal presentation. I'm not saying its ESV (wasnt Bethesda supposed to be developing a Natal game?).

Didn't Bethesda say that Natal is wasted on games, or something to that effect?
