Link doesn't work there.
Is that what Pete said about the teams? Then that validates the logic that BGS worked on ESV in pre-production during Fallout 3's full-production development.
The problem with that interview is that Pete doesn't actually say that, rather the interviewer
says that he said that. Here's what he said:
Pete Hines: Yeah if there is stuff that is found out after the game comes out that needs to be addressed we’ll certainly address it whether it’s a problem with a game or somebody says “gee it would be nice to have this feature,” or “I wish this would work this way” and it’s something that we can do simply then yeah we can easily do a game update to address those kind of things.
And what’s next the Bethesda team? According to Pete, once the game is shipped the team will be split into groups. One group will focus on support for Oblivion such as patches, updates, and expansions. Another group will focus on the next Elder Scrolls game. And finally one group will be working on Fallout 3.
Now, Pete could have simply said "next game," and the reviewer could have assumed he meant TES, or Pete could have actually said that. If they really have been working on it since 2006, that would mean that by the time it comes out it will have been developed for far, far longer than
any other game they've made. Longer than Fallout 3? Longer than Morrowind? TES V better be game of the friggin
decade.
