So if ESV is announced in Game Informer, could I pick up just that one (August) edition at Barnes and Nobles?

Hm. I would also like to know where I could get a copy, since I'm not a subscriber. So, Borders too?

"Got the cover art in today for the next issue. Giant sequel not at E3, and the art...well, fantasy nuts are gonna crap themselves"- Speaking of the August GameInformer

Can someone please tell me where this quote came from???

Despite all the various possibilities, I personally think TESV on the August GI is the most likely. I still could be wrong, but it seems to me that with Pete Hines saying that you shouldn't look at E3 for a special announcement, Bethesda's usual tradition of introducing their games in GI, as well as Beth personally sponsoring QuakeCon, it all seems to lead to the August GI being TES. However, there are several other huge fantasy sequels that were not at E3.

Umm, i'm not sure if this is a joke or i'm misinterpreting this; but Wikipedia on TES says, "Elder Scrolls V Not In Production"

If you go on the Timeline. It may have just been added on from a person that complemented it off Quakecon 2009 of Todd's statement.

I'unno, but I have checked Wikipedia a lot (probably unreliable), whether I did miss a TES announcement as I do not cover gaming as often.

Which ones?

Diablo III and Dragon Age 2. I think the Witcher 2 was at E3, so that's not possible. Someone should really make a graph for all this...

Wait a minute.. Can't TESV still be announced on the "secret" booth at E3??

Can it not still be announced? Yes, with all certainty it can definitely not be announced.

And welcome to the forums! :foodndrink:

T-T ESV is never gonna come out.

Yes, it has already been established that TESV will be released the day after the apocolypse. But at least we'll have an announcement.

I do still think D3 in GI is highly unlikely.
"Blizzard isn't attending E3, but look for a deluge of information coming out of BlizzCon in October." (http://twitter.com/Diablo/statuses/16175198157)
Why would they have a phat article in GI, when they've already promised a lot of new information for BlizzCon? It just doesn't add up, Blizzard won't give any cover-page-worthy information to GI - that's for BlizzCon.

Just because there is more dlc coming for dragon age that should definately not rule outda2 being on the cover. DLC is miniscule compared to a full fledged sequel people would still be excited for the dlc and it would be something to tide people over until the sequel and renew peoples interests so it makes perfect sense actually.

people won't get DLC if they can just get the sequel. maybe after they beat it and they go back to the first. but what purpose would there be for DLC if you're just going to release the sequel shortly after?

There will be plenty of time to finish dlc before the second comes out

Unless I'm missing something, it's actually the August cover that will be released in early July.

I'm checking E3. Looks like today is the last day, and the day Bethesda announces their secret.
