The Last Guaridan is a sequel to what?

It's not a direct sequel, but is set in the same world as their other games. It's certainly more of a sequel than Final Fantasy games are, and they are still defined as sequels. Rather than naming them Ico 1, 2, and 3, each game just has a unique title. Wasn't it you who pointed out earlier that the use of 'sequel' is relative to how much thought he gave the tweet? All of 12 seconds?

If The Last Guardian has already been announced with gameplay footage and all what is stopping GI to do a Guild Wars 2 Cover? Arenanet has some of the most talented artists in the market with their lead, Daniel Dociu winning multiple art awards. They did not visit E3 and with Guild Wars 2 being a sequel as well what did you rule this one out for? I probably missed a discussion on why this was ruled out but never saw, sorry if I am just wasting your time.

I only know the Team ICO games by reputation, but what I read on the Giantbomb wiki about them doesn't make them out ot be a series.

And you have me mistaken for another poster, I take the 'sequel' thing pretty literally. The Last Guardian is a follow up from a small studio to their last project, but nothing I've read would class it as a sequel in my understanding of the term. But we will see of course, you could be right, we just don't know yet.
