I wouldn't have thought so. Game magazines are a dying breed, so being offered the chance for an exclusive would be payment enough, especially with something as huge as TES:V.
That's kinda my point. If they had to choose between showing DA2 and TES V, they'd pick TES V unless there was money under the table. That's what I think, at least.
 No it wasn't.
"The Last Guardian's absence is nearly as mysterious. The upcoming title from Team Ico may very well be one of the industry's most-anticipated games – not only the core PlayStation community's – but there was no mention of it at this year's E3" - IGN
"Its lack of appearance at Sony's press conference was one of the biggest complaints among 1UP's staff and readers." - 1UP
Huh, my bad. It was listed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_Entertainment_Expo_2010#Notable_featured_games, so...
But indeed, I do think Bioware will make more DA expansions/DLCs before announcing DA2.
A while back when Famitsu came out with the rumor about TESV being shown at E3, I posted on Andrew Reiner's GI online wall that they should look into it. He responeded almost right away with a simple "nope." He could have just been being an [censored], but I think it's because he already knew the rumor was false and that TESV was gonna be the cover story of the August issue. GI also did a whole week of "predictions" for E3. Even though the whole internet was abuze with TESV speculation, they didn't mention it once. Its probably because they already knew it would be their August cover. These factors, coupled with the expiring Skyrim trademark and the absense of other games Andy McNamara's tweet could be about, give a TESV GI reveal a pretty darn good chance. I don't think the cover will be Dragon Age 2. It's just too soon for that. Plus did't they say they were gonna do a bunch of dlc for Dragon Age Orgins?
I so approve of this post. Or, well, I kinda don't. I keep telling you guys, don't get my hopes up!:P
