There is NO OFFICIAL information about a new TES game release.

This thread is for member speculation of when and if TES V will be released. This is where you post any new information about when it might be released, tidbits from interviews which mention it and such.

It is also where you post your theories of when you think it might come out based on guesses, number crunching, rumors or such.

This is about speculating on the next TES game and when -- or if -- it is going to be released. It is not a place for discussion of what is going to be in it, what type of graphics there will be, or any other subject of that type; they belong in the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1090035-tes-v-ideas-and-suggestions-164/. I just don't see the cover being ESV...I think its going to end up being versus XIII or last guardian or dragon age 2 since we've seen next to nothin on those I'm going with dragon age.

Latest improbable tidbit:

Zenimax has a trademark out on "Giant Monster News". Really think it's for another studio and not BGS, but they may have something in the works like a news letter or something. As I said, personally rank it as improbable, but the existance is fact.

I'll repost my first comment for that cover thing. The context was the thought that the game The Last Guardian could possibly be on the cover.

If The Last Guardian has already been announced with gameplay footage and all what is stopping GI to do a Guild Wars 2 Cover? Arenanet has some of the most talented artists in the market with their lead, Daniel Dociu winning multiple art awards. They did not visit E3 and with Guild Wars 2 being a sequel as well what did you rule this one out for? I probably missed a discussion on why this was ruled out but never saw, sorry if I am just wasting your time.

A matter of days IIRC; I believe both happened around September 10 2004.

On another note, if or when they announce TESV on GI, I reckon they'll either say when the second book is coming out, say that a date for that will be announced soon, or not say anything about it but announce it shortly afterwards. After all, the books have to fit in this schedule somehow, and it would be logical to try and get more sales for the second book based on the hype for the next game.

Although we cannot rule out GW2, the thing is that GI have said in the past what is the game on their next cover well beforehand. But this time they are talking about a giant sequel in general which gives the impression that they are going to reveal something that we haven't heard before.

Well if they stay true to form, they will also need to have a proper E3 showing of the game before it is released. Since it wasn't at this year's, then the release of the game will be after next year's E3... so maybe Holiday 2011?
