yea dude i was excited because i heard there was gonna be news at e3 from UESP and once i wasn't hearing anything i would go on the "are you mad there was no news at e3" thread and now this one to see if you guys knew anything and that's how i found out about the GI cover which is im hoping for. i'm not sure about it though because McNamara said the art specifically is what was gonna make fantasy nuts crap themselves. i wasn't a fan before i played oblivion but im pretty sure bethesda never really released any real artwork for their games. i might be looking into it too much though.

If the GI cover is not TES and if they don't announce it elsewhere in the next couple of weeks, this hype will die down and be replaced by annoyance at the best, and indifference at the worst.

My thoughts exactly. There comes a point when too much hype and zero delivery leads to EPIC failure. I remember there was hype about a TESV announcement at E3'09, and when it didn't come I stop checking the boards/internet for TESV news for a year.

This time around, however, because they are not saying anything to dispel the speculation of an announcement ... for them not to delivery would making a lot of people indifferent.

So I think this falls under speculation since we don't really know yet, what what do y'all think the case cover will b like? I'm thinking it'll prob be same light papyrus color like last two.

Remember that if Bethesda is going to make an announcement before the reveal of a cover, we have no idea when they'll announce it. Chances are good the cover will be revealed 2 friday's from now, but the game will likely be revealed earlier than that. :shrug:

Well I just read the book now in the hope that it would sate my hunger for Elder Scrolls, but my level of anticipation for the next game has only gotten higher. I need to just go away to the countryside for a week to get my mind off of things and just hope that I'm greeted with a present or something upon my return.

But I'm way too lazy to drive out to the countryside.

While I can drive, unfortunately drinking age in America is still 2 years away.

I do need to go out and do something, but unfortunately I really have nothing to do.

Well I'll be keeping tabs on this, but now I suppose I'll go distract myself with Photoshop for the time being. Maybe I can photoshop what I want Elder Scrolls V to be like...

Also, I have noticed that the SentUaMessage guys have been mentioning TES V a lot, although I'm pretty sure they don't know any more than any of us...which at this point is the trademarks and a "next big project".

Believe you me, if I thought I could get away with it I'd be there in a heartbeat. I have a plethora of medical conditions needing some tender loving socialized medicine, and the booze would help with the recovery :wink_smile:

So does anybody want to start a pool on what day the GI cover is announced? I'll put five drakes on the ninth.
