They probably could...

LOL, if this is a sarcastic post, I mean is it a solid possibility they announce it very soon?

Well, seeing as they could announce it tomorrow or Friday, it could be today too. Who knows.

Why? Why do you need that confidence? It's clearly obvious they are working on TES:V. There's literally no chance in hell they haven't already started developing TES:V. None, whatsoever. They are working on it. There is no question.
That's like..asking someone to verify that Pluto is real. It's there. Just because you can't touch or see it doesn't mean it's not.
I can't even begin explain how extremely impossible and unlikely it is that they haven't even began working on TES:V.

Still, a confirmation would be nice, wouldn't you agree?

To me personally? Not really. I'd rather them take their sweet, sweet time with it, make it perfect, make it Morrowind-esque.
A confirmation wont make our dreams come true any sooner.

Personally I'd rather them make TES V and not TES III-2

Obviously you're entitled to your own opinion, but I'd much rather have a TES III-2 than a TES IV-2.

TES IV-2 =/= TES V

Proof?

Since TES V has not been released, we have no idea how it could be equated to anything.

You know, I don't really mind the fact that we have heard no confirmation from Gstaff and friends about anything. I know that back on the WoW forums, which I used to go to once in a while, there were people who would start popular discussions about something they were concerned with, going on 20 pages asking for a "blue" post (post by an admin). Eventually that post would come, giving an answer so obscure that you are left with absolutely no more information than you had before - except the knowledge that the admins now know of your concern but don't care enough to give it a legitimate answer. So, in my mind, the absence of any sort of post from Bethesda is exponentially more preferable than one that just says "Maybe..."

No, just, no.

Exactly. My point was, I'd much rather have TES:V be more like Morrowind than Oblivion, but some aspects from Oblivion as well. I just don't want another Oblivion type game.
You know, a disappointment?

So just a game that has more lore and originality than generic [Insert Europe Here] Oblivion. Understandable, just as long as it isn't TES III-2. Morrowind was fine imo and I'd be upset if they decide to revisit it and ruin it.

And more items and quests. A bigger game in general.

For God's sake. Obviously I'm not talking about them re making Morrowind.
I'm just talking about the features it had, the depth, atmosphere, etc.

Now we're drifting into Ideas and Suggestions. Back to speculating.

I'm just hoping that the GI cover is released earlier than usual. Showing it early will not hurt TESV's development like some people seem to think.
