Hey everyone, Amanda here. I'm a big twitter user (http://twitter.com/caffeinated_mom!) and also a big elderscrolls fan and i heard about the game informer rumours so i decided to snoop around twitter and see what i could dig up.http://twitter.com/elderscrolls5 with a pretty legitimate URL. The image appears to be a roman numeral of the number five and the background is covered in what looks like frost or snow. Did i find it?! Did i find the elderscrolls V??!?!! :shocking:

I'm pretty sure I remember Mikedzines posting about creating a bunch of TES:V related Twitter accounts. It's probably one of his lovely accounts...in fact the V looks awfully close to the one he created a while ago. :rolleyes:

It was made by me. It was made as an attempt to get Bethesda to contact me in order to obtain the URL for TES V. You see, I "own" a lot of the elderscrolls related urls on twitter after I figured out they supposedly did not have one.

Why I update it? Well just so it looks like i'm using it and they cannot be repossessed because they are not technically dormant.

And how did Fallout 3's official reveal relate the the Game Informer reveal for it? Did it happen pretty much at the same time?

All I remember is that they had a splash page on prepareforthefuture.com

I'd go digging up on their main site, or that site for answers.

Nextmastermind ninja'd me on this one, but I already typed out the rest of this so I'm posting it, dammit:

Bethesda's trademarks on Skyrim are about to expire. If they announce the game they get to keep them without having to spend money to refile.
Andy McNamara of GI stated that the cover of the next GI is a sequel not at e3 of which the art will make fantasy nuts crap their pants.
There aren't a whole lot of games to which that could refer. I'm not going to list every game we've debunked and why, but you can search the thread for examples.
Bethesda has a history of announcing things in Game Informer.
Quakecon is coming up, and an announcement would build a lot of hype.

Could be Gothic 4. It's already been announced, but I don't think it was at E3.

Trine 2 has been announced, not sure if it was at E3 or not. I already saw a Two Worlds 2 article in GI, I doubt they'd do another feature on it any time soon.

no, surely that's good news for us. Why would they bring out a new DA if theyve just brought out a DLC?

What's Trine 2? As for Diablo 3, I guess so, if it wasn't at E3. Odds are it's TES V, though.
