That shows that TES is getting more attention from Beth. Besides, do you want Bethesda to have multiple companies make TES games?
The whole thing on "Fallout getting more fun" doesn't seem to make sense to me. Elder Scrolls isn't getting neglected, I promise you. If anything, it is getting more attention from Beth if they are handing out the Fallout title rights so readily.
They only let Obsidian make New Vegas so they can give Fallout fans a game to play while they work on TES V. At least that's what I believe. I'm sure that come 2013 or so Fallout fans will be clamoring for Fallout 4 just like we are doing right now for TES V. Bethesda isn't treating any series better, they're just covering their bases. The Fallout MMO somebody mentioned earlier is being made by Interplay and is not something Bethesda wanted them to make, or so it seems considering they're currently in a legal battle over it.
Bethesda commissioned two books for us TES fans to read, because they luvs us, but a lot of people on this forum complained about it being poorly written and amateurish. When the first rumors of a TES MMO surfaced, a MMO which is very likely being made whether we like it or not, the vast, vast majority of forum members who posted about it were, well, freaking the hell out, for lack of a better term. Bethesda knows TES fans are picky, and they know that if they let another developer make a TES game, they would have an extremely hard time convincing their fans to accept it. They don't have as much of a problem with their Fallout 3 fans because they're brand new fans to a newly rebooted series.
