I've been thinking about this a lot, and it for me it all comes down to one thing: I've played a lot of fantasy games (many of which I loved and would love to see sequels etc.) but TES:V is the only one that would make me crap myself.....

Nice catch. IDK if it would go up, but they might say "August Issue's Cover is for ." but not show any pictures.

No the cover goes up right away. Its just not in the gallery. There will be a news story saying something like "August Cover Revealed" with a blurry pic next to it. When you click to read the story the cover is always part of it.

I suggest everyone stop being on edge today and tomorrow. Its not likely that the reveal will be tomorrow/today, but most likely Friday. Looking at past reveals, the VAST majority happen on a Friday, and that would be July 9th.

Anyway, I'm still thinking DA2 is going to be the cover after all. :shrug:

Yes it was. Besides, War in the North isn't a direct sequel. It's a stand-alone LOTR game.

Yep me too. The NWN games, mmorpgs, dragon age and so on, many of these games are great, but none of them comes even near Morrowind and Oblivion. The great thing about Oblivion is the size, freedom and variety, especially the variety that mods adds.

I think it's a little early for FF15... just a personal opinion, but despite how fast they put those games out, if it is 15 it'll be like call of duty where there is one coming out every year... i don't think square-enix wants that

Theoretically, any fantasy game thats not at E3 could be the cover. Even something from the 80's that some studio decided to buy and reboot. A list is not going to serve any purpose due to the sheer number of theoretical possibilities.

I thought they were making FF14?... Anyway, the cover shouldn't be any games relating to Dungeons and Dragons, since there was a legal conflict of ownership or something. That rules out NWN3, Baldur's Gate 3, etc.

Kingdom Heart's 3 isn't even in development. The lead guy said they were busy working on Final Fantasy Versus. Versus was revealed in Famitsu, so I doubt that's the cover. Besides, GI doesn't seem to do JRPGs.

Diablo 3 would most likely be shown more at BlizzCon later this year, but it's still a possibility. I don't think it's likely though.

Dragon Age 2 is a possibility, though since they just released a DLC, and they're probably going to make more for it, including another expansion, I don't think we'll see DA2 just yet.

Thief 4 probably isn't the cover. Eidos Montreal is busy on Deus Ex: Human evolution.

And World of Warcraft 2? Really?... They haven't even released Cataclysm yet.

Yeah, I agree with you, but you never know... The more I think about it, the less likely I think that the two-winged dragon on that piece of paper that came with Awakenings is DA2. The Feb. date can't possibly be a release date for a full-blown sequel to DAO. It's got to be an expansion, or the announcement date for DA2.

But what do you think about the date that came with Awakenings? Do you seriously think that's the release date for DA2? If so, that'd be less than a year between announcement and release for a game as huge as DA2.

It's more likely the release of the second expansion, or the announcement of DA2 in my opinion.
