Official TES V Speculation Thread # 49

Post » Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:34 pm

There is NO OFFICIAL information about a new TES game release.

This thread is for member speculation of when and if TES V will be released. This is where you post any new information about when it might be released, tidbits from interviews which mention it and such.

It is also where you post your theories of when you think it might come out based on guesses, number crunching, rumors or such.

This is about speculating on the next TES game and when -- or if -- it is going to be released. It is not a place for discussion of what is going to be in it, what type of graphics there will be, or any other subject of that type; they belong in the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1090035-tes-v-ideas-and-suggestions-164/. If those kind of posts get raised they will be deleted and the poster warned for going off topic.

Please note that this thread is not a personal chat box and that one liners and posts of little substance will be considered as spam and thus the poster will be subject to warnings and suspensions.

No scans of copy righted material are allowed in this thread. All other forum rules apply. You agreed to them, so please read them.

Note that Bethesda Game Studios is NOT working on Fallout: New Vegas, Rage, Brink, or Hunted: The Demon's Forge -- Nor do they develop MMOs.

From Leydenne in the last thread - NOTE: This is a speculation thread. Not a chat forum. If you are tired of speculating on theories about TES V's release, then you do not need to post or read, right? :) Thanks.

From me in threads prior - We realise that everyone is anxious about news for this game, but the thread is being used as a chat box with a lot of off-topic and spammy posts. The same forum rules apply to this topic as the rest of the boards so please stay on topic.

From the general notes in many of the previous threads - Please note that this thread is not a personal chat box and that one liners and posts of little substance will be considered as spam and thus the poster will be subject to warnings and suspensions.

PLEASE NOTE: AS PER MODERATOR REQUESTS IN THE PREVIOUS THREAD, PLEASE CONFINE THIS DISCUSSION TO SPECULATION TO BETHESDA GAME STUDIOS / TES:V. DISCUSSION OF ZENIMAX ONLINE STUDIOS PROJECTS OR AN ES MMO SHOULD GO IN THE http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1085332-official-tes-multiplayer-thread/

These comments should suggest to you all something. Please take note of them and post accordingly in this thread. I strongly also suggest that you read the last couple of threads and avoid dragging up stuff already posted, discussed, minutely dissected, guessed at, made wishful posts on, and generally repeated. Again, until or if there is an official announcement, the next TES game does not exist except in your hopes and dreams.

I believe someone mentioned in the last thread that GI usually releases information like this on Fridays.

Nice catch. IDK if it would go up, but they might say "August Issue's Cover is for ." but not show any pictures.

Let's assume for the moment that the Game Informer cover will feature TES V, if that's the case it will be uploaded in tandem with a Bethesda announcement so you only need to be checking one place.

Of course if the Game Informer cover is not TES V then when its revealed there won't be a related update on Bethesda's blog so I suppose it does make sense to check both.

Thankfully if there is a major announcement I'll find out about it in the mod/admin forum before it shows up anywhere else so I don't need to check either :hehe:

If TES V was at QuakeCon I think it would be a video teaser, not a chance to play.

Definitely. It isn't Bethesda's style to have hands on demos. Its always a member of the team showing the game off.

Or maybe they had a change of heart.

It has to be last year's, being as the other games mentioned there are already out, and have been for a long time, and have no reason to be covered.

False alarm, ladies and gentlemen.

TES: V
Final Fantasy 15
Alice 2
Some sort of Dragon age
Lord of the rings War in the north

Edit: Put 'IV' instead of 'V'!
