Official TES V Speculation Thread # 63

Post » Sun Sep 19, 2010 5:04 pm

Hello.
1) I know english very bad. (Russia) May be not american english in the text below!
2) Probability that people from Zenimax/Bethesda read this strive to 0.
3) About TES V. The same X→0. Game will not be created.
4) RRRREALLY thanks for TES 3 MORROWIND and (less) for TES 4 Oblivion.
5) Anyway. If you will create TES V. You should know. I didn't read #1-#63, but all people don't know what a game it must be. Only i know. :D (kidding. Don't beat me)
A) No PvP. One player. Every human want to be a hero (at least in game). One hero. No hero in his game except he.
B) Purpose/Plot. Ohhhh. Many quests, many NPC, big world, many items etc. New big monster or new big war? War (like the first world war: looong and nobody knows how to win). Player choose fraction when approx. 20-40% of game completed. Yes. 18-38% = war starts. (Joke: when 70% Hahahaha. You all are weak so I has come (big monster))
C) No connection: items on character - main quest.
D) Chat in game. To talk with (an)other player(s), but do not play with him/them.
E) Suddenly. If you will reply...lol... Any questions about this subject.
F) If to create MMORPG. Don't take A, C (because main quest does not exist). Take instead of A: No PvE after max lvl (or another limit). PvP only, others things are only means.

Nope. Not enough time to market a game.

Hi! :)

It's great that you're suggesting things for the next game (which I've done many times), but we have a thread that's covering that http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1112090-tes-v-ideas-and-suggestions-176/page__st__100, where everybody shares their ideas and posts what they would like to see in TES:V.

Other than that, welcome to the forums! It's great to have new members!

That would give every PR person working for Bethesda an aneurysm, even if the game was announced today.

If he didn't, I'd be a little worried about their publishing department. :shakehead:

He's in the European office so his involvement with a new BGS game would be minimal during its early developement. The fact that he said anything like this is surprising and I imagine he got a figurative dressing down for publicly speculating to a reporter like this.

I still feel that he was mostly speculating. He could have had the advantage of knowing that BGS's next game would be an Elder Scrolls title but I don't think he was aware of its developement schedule. I actually imagine his willingness to speculate on a date actually suggests he wasn't aware of a developement schedule - it would be pretty inappropriate of him to "speculate" on a 2010 release of an Elder Scrolls game if he knew that's exactly what they were planning.

I've been waiting for a new Elder Scrolls ever since I finished Elder Scrolls IV, but I would want the fifth to have better engine to run on. My guess is that Bethesda will surprise us sometime in the near future.

Wow, we are getting a lot of new activity lately; lots of new people.

Anyway, I'd say that the Viacheslav Erofeev "coincidence" isn't one at all. Either he's still connected to BGS or he knows something we don't know about the next game. If he's not working on the next ES, then he might just have grabbed that domain knowing that in a few years it might pay off. Maybe not, though.

What is this coincidence, I don't think I've heard of it.

If someone wanted to make a fantasy game called "Black Marsh" and Bethesda felt they were copying the Elder Scrolls they could take them to court, maybe it's an RPG with a dominate race of lizard people fighting for their freedom against a kingdom of evil elves. However if it was a surival horror game about a small town terrorized by an undead hippopotamus that's probably fine.

Sounds like a H.P. Lovecraft story.

Skryim.org is owned by Viacheslav Erofeev who is credited with working on Additional Quality Assurance on the Shivering Isles expansion.

Viacheslav Erofeev knows there will be a TES game called "Skyrim" he bought the domain so he could sell it to fan site people.

BTW This is just a guess. It does make some sense though.

Yes, that would be right. I could have worded it a bit different.

He's bluffing, don't believe him. No one knows anything except for Bethesda.

And I have proof that he's bluffing on Facebook... But that doesn't matter.

Partially bluffing. We all have our secrets.

But if the content of YOUR secrets ARE correct then those secrets are of far greater value then ours.

The last person who came in to this this thread claiming to have insider information sworn up and down that Bethesda's next game would be on next generation systems.

So much for that.

Assuming you aren't just making this up then it is inappropriate to mention it. Either way please don't make such claims in this thread.

In fact that should probably go in the OP.

If your secrets are in fact secretive, I would advise not telling everyone you retain said secret. Defeats the purpose of having said secret in the first place.

Also, this makes me believe you are either 1) lieing, or 2) wanting people to beg that you tell them. Neither of which is helpful to these boards.

So for those of you who are scrounging for data regarding the next installment in The Elder Scrolls series, just wanted you to know about another pitfall I fell into. I now know a lot more about how to track and predict cyclones and other meteorological activity, and partly by accident. I started pouring over research papers and strange documents from universities as well as aircraft manufacturers about 6 months ago. I found a lot of it interesting, so I just started reading and learning more about it, but the standard acronym for Total Energy Singular Vector(s) is TESV. When I started reading the pdfs, I thought they were models for weather system generating algorithms in the next game, and I was very impressed... but I can be oblivious and dense too... so just thought I'd mention it.
