The replaying of SI and the EGM interviewer's remark makes me happy! :D

Especially the new scripting language, I am psyched for that. That's going to step up modding.

He said it twice now. He's ready to show the game! Come on Pete, over a year ago you said that they'd reveal their project once they were ready. Well... What are we waiting for? New Vegas to be released? I think so.

Who wants to bet TES5 comes out before or very soon (like a month) after Diablo 3? :P

I am not getting Diablo 3. I personally can not get into other fantasy RPGs for some reason. I understand though, how much of an impact Diablo 3 will have on RPG players' free time. I think, since Diablo 3 has no set date to be released yet, that BGS will try and have it out before it. This would be because people playing Diablo 3 will be playing it for months. :(

Thanks a lot for that info btw. :liplick:

Why didn't the interviewer ask him about if it would have modding tools!

Well since they're keeping GameBryo, and all the game's they've made with GameBryo has modding tools, deductive reasoning concludes "Yes"

Maybe we can trick them to saying is it the tes cs or not?

It probably would be, but, if not, it would probably be something very similar.

No but if we managed to get todd to say it is the tes cs then that means it has to be a tes game.

What i was pointing out was that diablo 3 has been annonced for over a year yet we only see a little bit more each time.....whereas TES5 which could be hasnt even been annonced could come out at the same time. Annoncement times to release times are not set periods.

Of course, that would require Todd to be really stupid. Thankfully he's not.

*laughs* I feel like a Todd Howard Junkie.. I see his name pop up for an interview or something and I jump on it.. Even though I know none of them contain anything major about TES V. I still look over them like some rabid starving animal, and he is a giant all you can eat buffet.

No.

'Thankfully' would refer to the fact that he is and let it slip. 'Unfortunately' refers to the fact that he wasn't stupid enough to let it slip.

Personally I wouldn't feel very good about someone stupid enough to say "Yes it will be moddable with the TES CS... DOH!" being in charge of making TES V.

For anyone curious, the http://gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/09/04/October9981-Cover9981-Revealed9918.aspx of Game Informer was revealed and, as expected, it's for Bioshock Infinite. The November cover will be revealed in early October, and the December cover will be revealed in early November. My bet is on TES V being the December cover.

I think so too. I'm guessing they want to announce it this year, but avoid doing it around the time of the release of New Vegas. One forum explosion at a time, please. :P

Didn't they have that silly "Oblivion Countdown" in October?
Well, maybe we may get something like that again... only hopefully useful this time.
Could count down to a possible November reveal.

"... we worked with artists at Irraional Games to produce covers that showcase what a video game magazine might have looked like on Columbia in the early 1900s. With illustrations inspired by period publications like The Saturday Evening Post, all three covers also feature unique advertisemant for products a citizen of Columbia might need."

Very nice art, but poor editing.

Thanks for the info as well from EG. I think a December cover release is reasonable. We're getting close, very close... :)

The history of the Nords... (fighting the Aldmeri or the ancient Mer civivilisation (Sorry cant remember proper lore facts)
that greatly helped the Imperials to become the rulers)

The next game being Skyrim,..

The weakened state of the Empire...

Lets say Umbriel lands on White Gold Tower in the second book...

Could it be then, that maybe/possibly the next game is based on a struggle Vs Nord and Aldermeri/Mer as a last hope for Men as rulers of the Empire?

Or am i way off the map here with this vision of change?

Again, sorry about the terms and whatnot

One can not link to them because they intentionally time out the links so that folks won't use up all their bandwidth.

Go to http://www.uspto.gov/, click on "search marks", click on "new user form search (basic)", then type in Skyrim and zip off into the wonderful world of trademarks!

However, I wanted to ask, how does one search for all the trademarks of a specific company? That was we can see if there are any new "No Word Mark"s.

There are a few other trademark search sites, but they all pull their information from the USPTO website.
http://www.trademarkia.com/trademarks-search.aspx?tn=Skyrim
This one is likely the most important trademark right now: http://www.trademarkia.com/skyrim-85067861.html

Did anyone notice that the game manual trademark is dead, and does it even matter if its dead?
