Post » Tue Jul 20, 2010 2:12 am

Perhaps the upcoming GI will have a cover teaser like the last issue had.

They tell it in a video, and I dont think any of you guys can understand Dutch. ^^ And they are not a stupid amaturistic GameSite, they go to alot of gameshows like Tokyo Game Show, E3 and stuff like that. Also they have a show on MTV so they cant just say anything stupid.
Here is the link to their site: http://www.gamekings.tv/ they tell it their latest item at 7.40 called ''Brievenmaandag'' or in english Letter Monday. ^^

They definitely make it sound like there's a huge game coming out next year. To quote them "It's going to blow away all other games". What I wonder is if Beth told other small (or big) game review websites about it, so they'll all announce it next week. Obviously if only GameKings would know and not, say, IGN or other big reviewers then I doubt it's ESV. And I say small, because I don't think they're internationally well-known, but in The Netherlands they're pretty much the numero uno if it comes to game news/reviews, etc.

I do have a feeling in my gut that February will be the month, GI or not.

This might be off topic but I think people are being stupid, 2012 and 2013 for TES V? Yes, you are setting yourself up so you're not disappointed but Bethesda know how bad we want the game
and saying that the mystery game is TES V then it WILL come in the next year, believe me. Some people will also I'm being optimistic but come on. Did we know Oblivon was going to
be announced the day it was? For all we know TES V could be announced tomorrow.

Although we have had forum updates before I'm thinking the same... does it fit with some of the speculation we have been discussing. could it be?
If beth win an award for FNV they could announce it as they collect an award, just imagine :as everyone in the audience see's Todd go up for best RPG or whatever they are due for NV the whole room waits in anticipation!! "oh, I almost forgot...Yo pete we cool??!!!.....ok...TESV is coming..." goodbye speculation thread for a year.

VGA, Forum updates?? Gameinformer poss jan/feb?? Todds readiness from Quake, a possible fall 2011 release???

Although I'm hyped with all this, there is still a bitter taste of doubt in my mouth... we can dream...

Hey folks!

Why can't they announce AND sell TESV in the same time? They said it will be a short time between it...so why not one or two weeks before christmas???

Are there any significant Japanese gaming conventions coming up soon? I read an article, I think by ign, in which they mentioned that they were trying harder to get into the Japanese market. Fallout new vegas was advertised there a lot more than any previous bethesda title to try to get some of their interest, as even the last two elder scrolls games had a hard time growing on that foreign market. (Apparently if the characters don't have large puppy eyes and anime like girls it gets shot down there, haha) Anyways, I don't figure they'd ever announce a game there, but possibly could time an announcement here in the states but near some significant event time there to hype it more and garner more foreign attention. Just a thought...

Hype. If they advertise more during the run-up, then a lot more people will buy it.

*continues to be scared by the new forum layout*

Actually, how do we know that the new forum layout wasn't Bethesda's secret project all along? :P

Not a chance. All the other forum layout changes barely took hours, and this one no different. :P

And leaving aside the jokes, you are very right. While it will be "shorter" by some undetermined amount, it will still be plenty long enough to advertise.

I'm actually right about something?!

That hasn't happened since I started posting here :P

SKYRIM is an anagram for MY RISK

MY RISK refers to the risk taken by the player in Oblivion, upon entering the kavatch oblivion gate.
That was at the beginning of the game, almost like a turorial.

TURORIAL is an anagram for ORAL RITU

ES5 Will be Released on September 22, 2011

Aw, Hell. Igloo's snapped again. Somone get the straightjacket and bucket of cold water. :D

Anyways, "issue before" previews for the GI covers are rare, so I'm not expecting to see a mysterious frozen valley with some cryptic message and "cover revealed January 6th" in the corner this month.

There is a Dutch gamesite called GameKings that says there will be next week an announcement of an RPG game where alot of people are waiting for and that it will create a hype as big as GTA or Gran Turismo... They cant say more untill next week about it... It could also be that new game from Bioware but that must be Mass Effect 3 or else there couldnt be people waiting for it...

Sorry for this terrible english, :whistling:

Intriguing... maybe the planets are finally aligning? probably not quite though...

then again, it'll be after the VGA's and Bethesda doesn't like big conferences...

Isn't this thread supposed to explode with wild, unfounded speculation after the forums UI change?

The update is interesting. That it foretells a coming announcement is perhaps overplaying the event; however, Bethesda knows what they're doing so it certainly fits into their broader plans.

Black Dynamite is that you?

In other news Bioware can [censored censored censored omg you can't say that! eeeww, gross] themselves after Mass Effect 2. But considering it's the VGA's it's probably "Mass Effect 3! Now with science on par with your average CSI episode." Bethesda just doesn't strike me as very "VGA, yeah HALOOOO!" I could be wrong, I hope I'm wrong.

Well, the VGAs are really plugging the fact that they have new-game announcements. Even if TESV is doubtful I'm certain I'll have fun with it.

Why don't I understand this about TES 5 beeing anoounced, but accually not. Rumors that are true, but officially not? If something is officially unofficial, yet unofficially official, what is it?

Could someone, or everyone, please, clarify this:

Will there be TES 5 next year?

:ahhh:
