There's a 50% chance of the game being announced this year. All we might get at the VGAs is maybe some more hints about their new game, but i'm not sure if they are about to announce their new project there.
At least I've got my hopes up.

But I can't help feel excited by these tweets, too... anyone of those 3 would make me happy, though TES:V is most desirable.

As for Game Informer's next cover, as much as I want it to be TES: V, it may be Thief 4.

People were speculating the significance of "4ever". People have wanted a Thief 4 for a long time, and it's definitely in development at Eidos Montreal.

I think there's a difference between reveal and announce. For example Half-Life 2: Episode 3 was announced back when Valve said they were doing three episodes, etc. But Episode 3 has not been revealed.

It matter little what they have done before. Not to say that it does not matter at all, though. Remember that it is Bethesda Softworks that announces and gets press for the game, not Bethesda Game Studios. Just because Morrowind and Oblivion were not trailer announcements does not mean that the now huge Bethesda Softworks wont go for a more mainstream approach as they have been doing with there other new games.

I think we might be putting a little more stock into the VGA's than we should... Bethesda has never announced at a televised event of any type before (correct me if i'm wrong)... I just don't see anything happening tomorrow.
