...could be old, but was sent to my email today.
This just means that correspondence has been sent to Zenimax Media regarding a decision that the USPTO made - this most likely is something incidental to the process and nothing with which to concern ourselves.
This Wednesday(tomorrow) might be the next date we should look forward to:
"Geoff Keighley’s said that the first two 'world premiere announcements' for the SpikeTV Video Game Awards, airing December 11, will happen this Wednesday."
One of the games has to do with Bioware, but the other game could be the Elder Scrolls V.

While the zeal to consider announcement avenues is greatly appreciated, we have no other precedence from which to hang our hope for an announcement beyond their website. Therefore, reasonable expectation dictates that the announcement will come first through the website. So rather than eagerly enduring these various gaming events with suffocating anticipation for an announcement that will never come, look to these dates as little upticks in the probability, careful to factor Bethesda's interest, of a possible website reveal. Again, while Bethesda is free to do otherwise, it is near certain the announcement will be on the website before all else.
