It would be nice to have Elder Scrolls V before the next generation of consoles come around. Oblivion was a great game and it would be nice to have another one like that. The Action RPG is now my favorite type of video game, with the second being the Open World action game like Red Dead Redemption. I really can't stand the shallowness and short gameplay time of first person and third person shooters.

That said, lets hope that an Elder Scrolls V doesn't freeze up like its Fallout cousins.

Todd said in an interview that their next game will be on this generation, but it will feel like another console (probably because the game will be so massive and have great graphics). And most people here on the forums are 99.99999...% sure that it will be TESV. So no worries, Bethesda's next epic will be in our beloved 360s and PS3s, and PC aswell of course.

Let's not forget that an exclusive reveal doesn't mean a play station exclusive...after all Microsoft revealed the new MGS game and it's still on the PS3...fingers crossed .

Actually, I'm thinking if it's an entirely new IP it easily could be elder scrolls...let's think of what game Sony could use to one up Microsoft and give boost to the hardcoe gaming crowd on spike...they only need to reveal it to gain more support.

Thats a trick question.
There probably is truth solely because TESV most likely is in production.
But then again, there is no truth at all considering this is just another variation on the 'I just met a guy at the pub who once lived with the second cousin of a work experience kid who did two weeks at Bethesda & he totally said they were making Elder Scrolls V'

only difference is that this has been published by what seems to be an established game / tech site. What these cases have in common is total lack of credible sources.

That is very likely, current-gen consoles are still powerful. I'd say they'd last for at least another 4 years.
