This is true. They can't really release a trailer without voice acting of some sort, and if the article is true and they just started voice acting, then we won't see a trailer for a good long while. My guess is sometime in spring 2011, with a release in holiday season 2011.

Not exactly. If they've got the models/textures, the idea, and the basic outline I doubt it'll take a whole entire year (or even a month).

Bethesda just released the fact sheet for FNV's DLC Dead Money with all that good new info. WHY NOT ANNOUNCE TESV?

As for the trailer thing with the voice acting, you don't need voice acting to make something great. Look at Fallout 3 and FNV's teasers, they were epic!

Let me get this straight. You are unhappy that we finally have news? :P

If he's lying he's an epic troll getting publicity for eurogamer. If he's telling the truth chances are it was planned by Bethesda. For all we know Bethesda might have wanted to warm up the masses and get them ready for the big bang of an announcement.
Well, of course not! :blush2: I'm just being skeptical so I don't get disappointed.... If this does get confirmed I'll be pretty ecstatic :celebration:

How long do you think it would take everyone to notice if they posted an announcement on the front page? Everyone seems to be watching this thread.

Exactly, all you have to do to make a good trailer is make a good atmosphere that attracts players

Yeah; and if not a trailer then give us a handful of screenshots at least. Then give a trailer (with gameplay) later when ready.

We've been at this for hours. I know it's exciting, but calm down and look at the actual Eurogamer article and the past few threads.

I am curious at the large number of game magazines repeating the story. Without verification from the original source, this kind of thing is dicey. There was a sports writer recently who was either put on probation or lost his job after intentionally creating a rumor about a player, just to see if other outlets would run the story based on his own (fabricated) post, rather than confirming it.

So either they do have confirmation, or they're just running with it. Then again, they really haven't said anything that most of us haven't guessed. Yes, there is another game coming. Yes, it's been under production for a while. No names, no dates. No mention of timing for official word.

*facepalm*

Can't you see that's what we are speculating, these are just RUMOURS, nothing was confirmed. In your own link there is "No comments" by a Bethesda employee.

The Bethesda employee saying No Comment pretty much confirms that they are working on TESV although they said No Comment because of the NDA which I can't blame them its not worth losing your job over something that could be announced next week.

Heh yeah, exactly what I was thinking, they would either say "No comments" or deny it.

I agree they would of said something if theyre not making it by now especially with something as big as this. I really wanna play some Morrowind and Oblivion right now. I can't wait for TESV though!

I know I will love this game,
I hated Oblivion,
but something about this game makes me know I'll love it.
I'm saying this without ANY information about the game, but some divine entity is calling me...
Sheogorath?
