It's from the countdown timer preceding Oblivion's announcement. Just change the URL from "...index_05.htm" to other numbers such as "...index_03.htm" or whatever.

There was a countdown to the announcement of Oblivion I think. That was the one they showed 5 days beforehand.

Just came upon this article, Google news is full of elder scrolls V news, apparently it will be a direct sequel, but one report claims it may use the fallout 3/new vegas engine, but that seems very unlikely

I expect they will do something of a similar nature,
although hopefully we won't get time delayed announcements that reveal an announcement about a time delayed announcement.
I say hopefully as plenty of companys seem to do this of late.

Oh, that splash screen countdown had us in a tizzy back in the day! It's also why I can't imagine them doing something ordinary like announcing as part of an awards show.

Assuming that all of this speculation is true, and the game is far along, I think there's a good chance that we should hear something at VGA 2010 on spike. As far as I know, there isn't any Gaming Events soon after VGA, and after having Todd say " That the game is pretty far along..." we should hear from it soon. Especially considering we're near Christmas.
